I went here for dinner the other night with two friends, and it was truly an unforgettable evening. From the moment I walked in, I was immediately met with a cozy, beautifully decorated space — the fireplace glowing, thoughtfully chosen furniture, and the perfect playlist playing in the background. Everything came together seamlessly and instantly made me so happy to be there.
The food was exceptional. We shared everything: the incredibly fresh and flavorful tuna tartare, the kale salad, and the traditional flatbread to start. For our mains, we had the pork schnitzel and the beef bourguignon — both absolutely outstanding. We finished with the cheesecake and crème brûlée, which were the perfect sweet ending to an already amazing meal.
As wonderful as the food was, what truly made the night special was the service. Kenza and Darnell went above and beyond in every way. They were warm, welcoming, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. They made thoughtful recommendations, checked in at all the right moments, and created an atmosphere that felt both professional and genuinely personal. By the end of the evening, we left feeling like we had gained new friends.
Hands down one of my favorite recent dining experiences. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a night out they won’t forget.

This place is a gem. We came here to celebrate a birthday, although we had serious doubts that we would like French food. Especially my friend, since he is a picky eater.
We ordered chicken, steak, four different cocktails, and crème brûlée.

We had our wedding at La Cigogne last month. It was an amazing experience, HUGE thanks to Damien and all of the staff for making it so wonderful.
The restaurant is gorgeous, the views of the river cannot be missed and the floor to ceiling windows ensure that you’ll have a great view no matter what. The food is excellent – we’ve eaten here numerous times.
If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this place. Also, great wine selection 🙂

Came upstate from newyorkcity with my girlfriend for a short get-away and found this gem on google. We called in advanced and Liz was so kind and informative over the phone. We came the same day and the atmosphere is amazing – homey, yet elegant . Liz ended up serving us and she was so polite and helpful again, giving us a great experience. The cocktails and food were the best part. Everything was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. The music is great too by the way. Thank you guys for a great experience, well be back!

My second time here and you did not disappoint!!! Made reservations (best to do). Was greeted by friendly hostess and quickly seated at a preferred spot at the bar. The menu is small but done to perfection. The pâté is out of this world and they have a Pouilly Fume that pairs well with it. Great staff and wonderful views makes this spot one of my favorites in the Catskills!

The visit to the beautiful town of Narrowsburg is not complete without the Tusten mountain hike and, of course, a visit (or two!) for drinks, dinner, or brunch at the beautiful Cigogne. Between dim, romantic lighting, smooth jazz trailing in the background, stylish staff, and, of course, fantastic food and drinks, you may feel like you have been transported to a trendy Parisian restaurant as soon as you walk through the doors. You can tell that every detail was given a thoughtful consideration-from the table decor to the plating, to the drink garnishes. Then there is the view to top it all off. Also, the owner was there on Saturday night, checking in with the guests, the kitchen and dining room. We cannot wait to experience Cigogne again very soon. Merci beaucoup to everyone who made our experience amazing!
