Absolutely incredible experience. Hands down the best and most authentic Colombian food I’ve had. The chicken was insanely flavorful and perfectly cooked, the skirt steak was tender and seasoned to perfection, and the rice with pork-infused beans was out of this world—rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. The drinks were next-level, easily some of the best I’ve had anywhere. On top of that, the decor genuinely made me feel like I was back in Colombia. From the food to the atmosphere, everything was on point. If you’re looking for real Colombian cuisine and vibes, this place is a must. My compliments to the chef!

The most authentic Colombian restaurant I’ve ever been to. From the moment you walk in, the service is unmatched. The staff truly goes above and beyond, always checking in, always making sure you’re happy, and treating you like family in the best way possible.
The food tastes like real home-cooked Colombian comfort, and you can feel the love in every dish. It’s one of those rare places where you’re genuinely happy to pay the check at the end because the experience is that good.
If you want incredible food, amazing service, and a true taste of Colombia, this place is absolutely worth your time. Highly recommend.

Came here today for the fourth time and realized I never gave wrote it a proper review. I got my usual order, bandeja paisa. It was delicious as always. The texture and flavor of the rice was amazing! I never eat the beans at other spots—I find most too watery compared to how I grew up eating beans, but La Chiva does a great job! I forgot order the skirt instead of the normal steak that comes with it, but it was still delicious. The staff was also extremely attentive and did a great job and their service was impeccable. Definitely give this a try!

This restaurant is truly a gem. The food is consistently delicious and incredibly fresh. They have the best mondongo – rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The tripe is tender and not chewy at all. The beef empanadas are outstanding, perfectly seasoned with a crisp, golden crust.
Beyond the amazing food, the team makes the experience even better. They’re friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely kind, which makes you want to keep coming back.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic, high-quality food and warm hospitality.

What a nice experience dining at this fun and delicious Colombian restaurant. Our family enjoyed a wonderful evening singing karaoke, drinking Sangria, and eating very good traditional Colombian food. Although the decor is pretty basic, the energy and atmosphere are terrific.
Besides the food being very good, the staff is outstanding! Our server Maria was absolutely a gem! She was professional, helpful, personable, attentive, and fun! She truly enhanced the entire experience. Her counterpart was really nice as well. In addition, the manager Juan was a true gentleman!
I really look forward to coming back again sooner than later.

We decided to try this fairly new restaurant based on reviews we read. Unfortunately (for them), their location is in a very quiet, hidden strip mall. They have a large bar area to eat and/or drink at. We were seated and presented with corn cakes that were accompanied by a sautéed onion/peppers mixture. The cakes were fairly bland and dry, definitely needing the mixture on top. Jose was our server, very nice and helpful with recommendations for drinks and menu items. We ordered the beef Empanadas for an appetizer. My husband ordered the Churrasco and I had the Churrasco with seafood. The Empanadas were very good. A nice crunch on the pastry and well stuffed with shredded beef and potatoes. The Churrasco presentation was great with pork belly & chorizo on top, beans in the middle and the steak with rice, avocado, an egg and plantain on the bottom. The pork belly was dry and over cooked. The chorizo was very good. Beans were good with a nice sized ham piece mixed in. The plantain was bland, though nicely caramelized. Steak was perfectly medium, tender and well seasoned. My Churrasco with Seafood was very good. The seafood mixture was in a creamy sauce, so the steak would have been better separated and not sitting in the sauce. My steak was seasoned, tender and a great medium rare. I also enjoyed the beans & rice. The seafood was shrimp, calamari, mussels and clams, a nice size serving. The Chimichurri served with the steaks was delicious!! Overall good experience, prices on the high end. For a Friday night there were only 2 tables and 1 couple at the bar, but we wish them success!
