We found a little piece of Colombia right here at La Chiva and let me tell you… WOW. The Bandeja Paisa and bandeja campesina are next-level comfort food — perfectly cooked chicharrón, juicy chorizo, sweet plantains, fluffy rice, and the creamiest beans ever. And that egg? Runny perfection.
Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and made with so much cariño. The avocado was buttery, the arepa was soft, and the whole plate felt like a big, delicious hug from a Colombian abuelita.
Sodas are pricey but I understand they’re imported! Remember they’re a small business
Aji es muy diferente pero deli.. everyone makes it differently
Also… portions are HUGE! You will not leave hungry — or disappointed. Definitely coming back for more!

The food was good and with a lot of flavor.
They have a lot of different dishes on the menú Unfortunately, the beers are super expensive, and the prices are not even listed on the menú so you better ask for their prices before ordering one.
We were in shock when we saw the check and noticed each beer (bottles or can ) were $7.50 each.

We like this restaurant for it’s conveniently located nearby us, the food is always delicious, they always have Colombian TV on, and/ or Colombian music playing. The only things I kinda dislike are, the waiting times are kinda long, and sometimes the plates could be larger specially the bandeja paisa.

As a Colombian, I’ve been searching for good authentic Colombian food, and I’m so grateful to have found this place. Every plate was delicious and authentic. Cannot wait to come back soon.

we came with a service dog which was in its own pet backpack. we barely sat down and they asked for certification when its not obligated elsewhere we have ate. service was bad and felt unwelcomed. do not recommend.
