Loved our food .. I had several options for soup and tacos.. they are very generous with the servings and also made it so appetizing , a lot of extra touches such as home made taco shells and tortillas , fresh lettuce and avocado.. all the cilantro and salsa were fresh .. cut right on the spot .. loved this spot ..

My wife and I absolutely LOVE this place. You will get great tasting Mexican food that is authentic. We come here as often as we want the cuisine. It’s very hard to beat for the value as well, you will not leave hungry.
If your diet allows, you have to get their Agua Fresca. It changes but it’s always delicious.

I came here yesterday morning. It was right next to my veterinary clinic. Authentic Mexican cuisine, small hole in the wall restaurant. The service was impeccable ,wonderful workers. Lastly, the portion sizes were not as big as I hope they were, but the food is delicious.! Meal for one was less than $16.

We were waited on by three different people. Finally, the lady who waited on us was always checking in on us to make sure we were good! The service, well, it stank but the food was good. I don’t know how many times I asked the servers if they would take my payment, but kept getting ignored. Long story short, would definitely come back but I think this time I’d like a lady server over a male server as they were either deaf or just hard at hearing.

The drink was about $14.change and it was Small and not great.Salsa is spicy just spicy not much flavor. I got chilaquiles and I mean it’s chilaquiles the only problem is the beef I guess it’s a Hisp thing to overcook our beef idk. I got these pieces of birrote with my chilaquiles and idk what they add to them but it made it seem I was eating raw dough.

Pretty good mexican food place. You will find a mix of authentic and more americanized Mexican food in a low-profile cafeteria style. They have a little bar offering cocktails.
The portions are generous, service is good. I would come back for sure.
The parking lot is big enough for the size of the place.
Updated: for all of you that wonder about an authentic dish, they serve “carne de cerdo con verdolagas” not every restaurant offer that.

The food was finger-licking good. Potatoes could’ve been cooked a little more. Everything was cooked fresh so the wait time is a little bit up there. I Def recommend the Cafe de olla.

This place may not look fancy but it certainly makes up for it with their food. My daughter and I had never been there before and went based on how great some of the pictures of their food looked. We shared the fajitas mixed grill with steak, shrimp and chicken and it was simply delicious. Very favorable! The black bean dip was also great as we waited for our meal. Unfortunately I don’t live in Houston because I would love to go back sooner but if I’m in Houston area again I would absolutely love to go back.

Terrible service. The food is not worth the prices or service.
I used to love this place years ago but stopped going when the prices got crazy. Me and my family gave them a chance Saturday morning, we arrived and only two table were in use with people who already had their food. A new crowd came in and everyone that came after us was helped and literally got their food before we even ordered our food. I wanted to get up and leave and I really should have, but like I said we were giving them a chance. Our food was literally forgotten about they don’t even hide the fact that they forgot about you. Our food was cold and the taco tortillas were hard from sitting. The chilaquiles were not that great. They definitely taste like straight up blended chile no other flavor. It was very disappointing. There is way too many Mexican restaurants nearby for this place to think they can treat people like this. They were way too worried about setting the empty tables with coffee cups and napkins to even check on us. Find new management, take a training class. SMH.
