Had the chicken tostada. It was good, but i should have listened to my gut and said you’re not that hungry. And you should have gotten asada fries

Covington has gone Mexican!! We had been eyeing this spot for quite some time and finally decided to try it. Boy were we happy we did and we definitely will continue to return. The salsa and chips are authentic and VERY good. They accommodate all of our needs and the cuisine is more on the traditional, authentic Mexican food rather than the Americanized Mexican imitators out there. Keep in mind also the variety of seating environments. For a smaller place you can sit at a booth, the bar, a family table, or go outside on the patio. There definitely is food and seating to meet everyone’s taste. The service was superb as well! Nos regresamos muy pronto! Que Vale ️ ❤️

It’s really good Mexican food. I talked about the fajitas burrito for days, and the margaritas are excellent. The Bartenders and Cadillac margaritas are especially good.

Just moved to the area! Today was our 3rd time here and this time we sat down inside. Allllll of the staff were amazing, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Love this place and will most definitely be back! 10/10 ❤️

We recently had a graduation party and chose La Chata to premade food for pick up. We have eaten there a number of times and knew the food was very good. Food was picked up on time, it was a big hit everyone loved it. Highly recommend people that haven’t gone there to give it a shot.

Our family loves this restaurant. We always feel so well taken care of when we come here and call it “our spot.” With 3 young children they go out of their way to make their plates special and the kids always love coming here. I’m a vegan and love their vegetarian fajita plate. They easily accommodate my requests and go above and beyond making sure we have enough tortillas, chips, salsa, … All the things. My youngest loved the bean and cheese dip they provide with the chips. She looks forward to it each time. Anyway, recommend to anyone looking for good food and quality service.

We had an awesome dinner with our friends at La Chata’s! We ordered a couple appetizers. The Ceviche and the Jalapeño Rellenos… I highly recommend both!! Ceviche super fresh and bright! The Jalapeño Rellenos, creamy, salty and a little heat just so good! I got for my main dish, the Fish Tacos. Buttery, jucie, and delicious. I ordered the Cadillac Margarita and perfection
Definitely will be back and take pictures next time and do a full review of all the dishes we ate.. Im in a bit of a food-coma ( not even joking)
