What a great meal. We were greeted with the most beautiful sunflower and lavendar fields. Once you walk past the estate you get to the restaurant with a beautiful outdoor and indoor seating. Out of the two available menus, We chose the carnivor menu so to say. The menu is broken down into weeks of Harvest based on what’s available and fresh in the estate. We dined their at week 29 Harvest, so the aubergine was fresh fresh fresh! A 6 course meal, with a palate cleanser, pre dessert, dessert, and post dessert! We commuted an hour for this meal and definitely worth every bite.

Service, garden and atmosphere were great. Delicious desserts. The vegetable tasting menu was good but did not surprise me.

Was really looking forward to our visit here. The garden is enormous and pretty much all of it is edible! 2 tasting menus available… one purely from the garden with no meat or fish and one with. We went for the one with and it was excellent. Inventive and creative use of garden edibles to complement the meat and cleanse the palate between courses. All in all an excellent 3 hour lunchtime spent. Loads of variety in the courses and definitely one to check out. The chef makes great use of what’s around him.

Fabulous. Incredible food served directly from the restaurant’s gardens. Beautiful setting and attentive but calm service.

I think there’s too much focus on complexity and technique, rather than making delicious food.
The desserts were tasty!

The best part about this restaurant is the beautiful serene garden. You are invited to explore it in its entirety upon your arrival. The dishes were fun, and we particularly enjoyed guessing the ingredients of the alcohol-free infusions accompanying our dishes. We felt at home and will be back!

As we stayed in Arles few days to go see Carrières de lumière, our friends had booked well in advance a table at Chassagnete, a star Michelin restaurant which is located about 10km away from Arles city center. The place is completely isolated, in a good way. It feels like an island in the Camargue area. They have a huge garden we could visit, in which they cultivate a very broad range of vegetables and fruits. They also have a green house growing tropical products like papaya. This was very impressive.
The restaurant seating was outside in a charming setting in a Mosquito protected area (structure of nets surrounding the entire area). They also provide mosquito repellent if needed. Our diner was excellent and inventive. Our waiter explained that the menu defined by the chef was entirely driven by what was available in the garden and therefore required a lot of experiments to achieve the best. They also have their own fisherman who bring them fishes daily.
The culinary experience was excellent and overall service was good. One minor issue as we had to ask repeatedly our waiters to pour the wine we had bought. We would have anticipated them to see when our glasses were empty.

Had the six course meal with the wine pairing and it was delicious. Great service and also an amazing garden outside. Pro tip: use the mosquito spray that they provide!

Absolutely amazing food with fantastic wine pairings! Everything was brought to the next level. The farm is picturesque. The weather didn’t cooperate for our meal, so we were unable to dine outdoors but enjoyed the ambience inside regardless. We would definitely recommend La Chassagnette; especially their vegetarian menu.

This was one of the top three meals of my lifetime. We didn’t know what to expect before going The restaurant is tucked away in the middle of farmland outside of Arles. The moment you pull in to the restaurant you realize how special it is. Everything from the font on the sign to the decor inside and outside of the restaurant is beautiful. A tour of the gardens before lunch showcases where everything you eat is grown. Each plate we had was photo worthy, and I hate taking pictures of food, but I could not help myself. The wines were delicious and the staff were excellent. I will dream of being here for years to come. Thank you!!
