Cute, quaint diner with great service. I ordered the early bird special, two pancakes, two eggs, and two strips of bacon for $5.99. Everything was fresh, delicious, and came out quickly. The coffee (Café de olla) was excellent, and they weren’t stingy with the creamers or condiments. Overall, a solid 10/10 experience.

I asked a friend if there were any good places for lunch in that area and he said I had to go to the hood and recommended this place. I tried their Tuesday special and wasn’t disappointed. It looks spicy but it wasn’t, it was actually really good, with the hand made tortillas to mop up the sauce. Ladies beware: their unisex bathroom isn’t the best. Friendly staff and they checked on my table twice. Prices are reasonable.

Ordered cafe de olla, pozole, amd red chicken enchiladas. They bright us some fresh chips (homemade) and salsa. The food was delicious and tasted exactly like how my grandma used to cook. The service was wonderful, very attentive and thoughtful. The server right to ask my daughter if she’d like the pulp out of the piña agua since she had time. Very sweet of her to ask. Only downside is they only accept cash.

They have a really good breakfast/early bird special. $4.99 for two eggs, pancakes and sausage or bacon, and the food is good. Where else can you find this kind of deal?
The service is slow, but the host is attentive and friendly. They only have two people working in the mornings, so if you’re in a rush, maybe look elsewhere.

A gem. I’m not a Mexican craving person but today I was like.. I want 2 plain tacos please. I wanted a bite without going over $5 bucks. 2 small tacos came out to $3.10. Each small taco was $1.39. About the tacos. They were generously filled with protein. So much so I thought they were the big tacos. I got 1 carnitas, 1 el pastor. Just bomb. Meat was perfectly seasoned. Perfect amount of oil on tortillas. I ate in..and to my surprise my tacos came with chips and salsa. A bargain for $3.10. The location is very clean and updated. I saw a menu outside which states a early bird special breakfast for $3.99. I’m definitely coming back for it. Update: my tacos were soo good I came back for seconds the next day. Ordered 3 large tacos. Meat seasoning was consistent and fresh so I keep review the same.
