The experience starts strong, and the food just keeps coming. I began my meal with an Espresso Martini—a great choice! Soon after, they brought out the Baked Potato Tater Tots, a decadent delight loaded with bacon, sour cream, mozzarella, and brown gravy.
You’ll find dish after dish of fantastic options, from sliders and chicken wings to mouthwatering grits. The truffle mushroom grits, made with pecorino and truffle oil, are absolutely heavenly. The meal also features perfectly crispy bacon and super tasty chicken sausage links.
For those with a sweet tooth, La Cave has you covered. The cream cheese pancakes with ube jam and whipped cream are a standout dessert that you won’t want to miss.
Another highlight was the Filet Mignon Eggs Benedict, which was incredibly tender and flavorful. For something lighter, the Heart of Palm Artichoke Salad was a refreshing and bright combination of white beans, garbanzo beans, and avocado, all topped with an ice wine vinaigrette.
With a spectacular view of the pools and grounds at the Wynn, La Cave’s weekend brunch truly delivers a memorable and delicious meal.
Their food is family style / shareables, and they recommended two dishes a person which was perfect. We started with a crudo and meatballs, then got a the three meat pizza, Brussels sprouts, and chicken skewers. We both did different red flights and loved each of them.
Our servers was great and the ambience is fantastic here. I’ve been for a date night, girls’ night, and work dinner. All were great groups to enjoy La Cave and I can’t wait to go back!
Unfortunately, the experience fell short. I am almost positive it is because of where our table was located (right inside the glass doors to the right, next to the bar and door). You get a menu of all the foods that will be coming out. Of course, there are things that you are anxious to try… but we kept waiting and waiting. The food we did have was delicious, but after 90 minutes, there were things that NEVER came to our table. It seemed like every time the staff had a full tray of food, they immediately went to the bigger tables of 6 or more. By the time those tables got their food… there was none left for us. It was rather disappointing because we loved this concept. At the end of our 90 minutes, our waiter asked if there was anything we did not get or would like more of. By that time, we were filled up on the bottomless drinks (which is an excellent value), and the other food. I probably would not go back and spend the extra money and return to the Wynn Buffet, which is excellent – you can get what you want when you want and don’t have to feel ignored.
