This was an excellent place to eat. The lady who served us was really friendly and added some nice touches like offering us olive oil for our bread to which she’d mixed her own herbs and spices, which was really delicious.
For starters we shared the assiette de charcuterie et fromages. There was a nice selection of meats and cheeses and these were nicely presented and very tasty.
For mains we had the gambas au jus de bouillabaise and the entrecôte, sauce bérnaise, frites & salade. I ordered the steak à point and it was cooked perfectly. The meat was well aged and had just the right amount of rendered fat. The only slight disappointment was that I’d asked for the sauce to be changed to gorgonzola, but still got the bérnaise. The waiter was clearly somewhat embarrased and offered us a free dessert, which was a nice touch. As regards the seafood dish, the chef really nailed the bouillabaise sauce which was really excellent.
We finished the meal with a creme brûlée and a couple of after dinner drinks that were all on the house.
Overall, this was a delightful place to eat and quite reasonably priced too. We will definitely be back next time we visit Nice.

Lovely restaurant with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Cozy interiors, authentic and chic. Very international, yet very local.
I had a tasty and delightful salad nicoise. My family had pizzas (there were good, but not the best they said ☺️)

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat, wasn’t sure if it was going to be good or not. We were immediately greeted by a smiling gentleman at the bar, asking us if we wanted to have a seat at a table. The place inside looked amazing with a great old school ambience, so we decided to try it out. We were amazingly surprised at how good the food was and how great the service of the people were. The prices were reasonable, around €20 for two people, and we were completely stuffed once we were finished. The lady that waited on us was just as nice as the gentleman; she couldn’t speak English but I could tell that she really cared and made sure that our order was perfect. Even the customers around us smiled and conversed with us! If we get the opportunity we will definitely be back!

Had drinks here on Friday night for about 40 people. Plenty of room with a fresh modern but old school bistro feel. The one barman worked so hard but did not loose his cool & was pleasant. This place is definitely on my list to return. A large Apérol Spritz €7.50
