Excellent Friday lunch option in downtown Greenville! Service is phenomenal. The food arrived in a timely fashion, especially considering the quality! The Birria ramen was to die for, with the taco plate being just as delicious! Both menu items were reasonably proportioned, I will definitely be back!

This place has great tacos and quesadillas. Their beef and chicken are all great quality and flavorful.
Their burgers are also huge and very high quality, with their own Mexican twist, the burger is very delicious.
The flagship of the place is their birria quesadillas and birria tacos. The meat of the birria tastes delicious and the broth they provide packs a flavorful punch. Also very cheesy but not too much.
The staff are very nice and they speak both Spanish and English. The cook makes the food fresh so when you get your plate, the food is hot and fresh.

La Cantina in Greenville is known for its cozy, casual vibe and tasty Mexican dishes. People often rave about their flavorful tacos and fresh guacamole. The service is usually friendly, and the prices are pretty reasonable, making it a solid spot for a relaxed meal. If you’re into authentic Mexican flavors without the fuss, it’s definitely worth a visit!

I’m baffled how they got 4+ stars- my chips were completely stale, my barbacoa flavorless. Really disappointing!

First time order. Place seems more like a to-go pickup, even tou it has a great dine-in decor atmosphere. Food was great! Ordered the Asada Stuffed burrito and the Torta Cubana Mexican Sandwich both delicious. Even tou was lil pricey but worth it. Will be back to try the birria tacos next time. Thankyou.

My enchiladas came out really fast then about 7 min later my husband gets his street tacos. I give them a 2 star for only their chips being fresh. My cheese enchiladas weren’t cooked hardly. The cheese in the middle wasn’t even melted. NOT HAPPY!!! And the salsa bar is one kind of salsa. WTH???

Stopped in on the way back to Lewisville and were very pleased with the food and service. Restaurant was very clean and the staff very friendly. We ordered a few different items and we were very happy with everything. We did have to add a little salt to the guacamole and the barbacoa burrito was a little salty, but the rest of the food and cleanliness more than made up for it.

I really do not know where to start. Our experience was not great and the food was not great.
Ordered two plates, one with fajita meat and the other with pork. They were both over cooked and dry. The pork plate had some good-sized fat chunks. The tortillas (we got corn on one and flour on the other) were very tuff. The onions and avocados were good. The flimsy plastic ware made it very hard to get over cooked cheese/meat off plate.
The restaurant area was so hot, customers were taking food to their cars. No fans, no air moving at all. Staff walked all around us and never once asked how things were. No water, you had to buy bottled water.
This visit cost us about $35. Maybe bad day for them, but we will not return.
