Incredible experience at La Catrina Mexican Restaurant!
The steak was perfectly cooked — juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The rice and beans were the perfect complement, making the whole meal well-balanced and satisfying.
What really stood out were the fresh, handmade tortillas — absolutely delicious! You can tell they’re made with care and tradition.
I also had a great conversation with the owner, and they’ve decided to launch a massive burrito eating challenge soon! As one of the first to take it on, I’m beyond excited to represent St. Stephen in this epic food battle.
Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for authentic, flavorful Mexican food and a fun local vibe. Support this gem!

My first experience I had Huevos con chorizo with flour tortillas And Then I had the churro dessert, which was absolutely delicious. I paid $18. Very reasonable prices. Give them a break though they are just starting up so the atmosphere will change in the future according to one of the owners. They plan on putting TVs and things in there. I also heard they will serve margaritas and other drinks too. I look forward to going there often. Great customer service, very friendly and attentive

Just finished eating here with my husband and we are both very pleased with our experience. The food was delicious and our server was a delight! We also had management come out to check on us which is always nice. I hope this place survives and thrives! We will be back!!

Best Mexican I’ve had in a long time ! Salsa and chips were included and tasted very authentic.
I had the Al Pastor Tacos and they were delicious. Marinated in a very unique seasoning and had great flavor. You can tell they put a lot of care in the food and it’s not just re headed proteins from previous days . Will definitely return when I’m in town .
