We are foodies and this is probably the best Mexican Restaurant we’ve been to. The food is hands down amazing, the service is efficient and accommodating. Authentic tacos. We got the Al Pastor Tacos which comes with rice and beans and the chicken Enchiladas Verdes with rice and guacamole salad.

Took my husband here tonight for the first time for his birthday. The staff was so friendly and the food was amazing with giant portions. Our waiter even had the staff come out to sing Feliz Cumpleanos for him and gave him a free dessert! Made his birthday dinner feel special ☺️ We will definitely be back!

If you are looking for great Mexican food in Jackson, La Catrina Bar & Grill is the place to go. We’ve been here several times and have never been disappointed. Tonight we went for dinner. We had Chicken Fajita and Carnitas Tacos. Delicious!! They came with a side of rice and beans. The entire staff is so friendly and attentive. Today they had upbeat Mexican music playing making our dinner a lot of fun. If you haven’t tried this hidden gem, you dont know what you’re missing! Go tomorrow!

The better half plays trivia here every so often. Thought I’d tag along for dinner today. Never being here didn’t know what to expect. Was seated quickly and was chips and salsa right away. Ordered the Burrito California and was on the table before we knew it. Let me tell you, it was a lot bigger than I was expecting. Delicious nonetheless.
Would definitely order it again. Good food, great people and very nicely priced. If you haven’t checked this place out yet, definitely give it a go.

I can say that it is one of the best tacos I have had in Michigan, I ordered pastor and asada tacos, my favorite is the asada. order them with grilled onion They have a very delicious avocado green sauce that is not spicy but has a super spicy matcha sauce.

All I can say is Wow, Ordered Molcajete, (Distription needs to state service for 3 or 4!) it was excellent, not over spicy or to hot, the flavors and amormas are fantastic, Every bite was mouth watering and filling my taste buds full of great flavors, as the juices ran all over my hand! Prices are very reasonable, was not crowded, but it could be if this place catches on! La Catrina will be our first place to venture for great Mexican food!

Very lively Mexican joint with a very diverse menu. Love the staff and the atmosphere. Their California burrito could be more like an actual one, with French Fries in it, but that’s a common Michigan mistake. Very decently priced.

I lived in southern California for 5 years in military la Catrina is the closet food experience I have seen since then. California borrittio old style surf and turf shrimp and carne asada and french fries just like they did in so cal. Don’t forget the bean and rice off the hook food great price wonderful staff.
