A real taste of Mexico
We have been craving authentic mexican mariscos and finally made time to check it out.
The menu has a whole array of options to suit every taste, from the little ones to the most seasoned ones, even the ones that don’t like seafood.
We ordered a carne asada plate and a parilla de mariscos. We got soo much food and it was delicious. They make their own tortillas and they are the best. They also have fresh aguas frescas; their chips and salsa was amazing as well, the waitress was a sweetheart, and of course you couldn’t be eating mariscos without banda music to feel like you are in some place back in Mexico.
Im just sad because i wanted dessert but we will have to come back for it.
10/10
see you soon

Food was delicious and served in a speedy manner. They have a button on the table to call for service I thought that was cool. Only down side is that they charge for extra chips and salsa.

I recently visited this restaurant in Austin and decided to try their ceviche tostadas. Unfortunately, I found the dish to be quite unappetizing. The ceviche was warm, reminiscent of a seafood broth, and I found it to be inedible due to its greasy texture and a flavor that I can only describe as being similar to lard. Consequently, I do not plan to return to this establishment.

I visited this restaurant thinking it was going to be good seafood but I was disappointed. The shrimp I received inside my shrimp cocktail tasted like the frozen from the store and as you could see they are really small.
The fish and shrimp plate everything tasted all burned.
The prices you pay are high for the quality of food you get at this place. Based on my visit it seems like everyone just go there to have drinks.
I don’t recommend this place if you are looking for good seafood.

The food was pretty good but the service was definitely lacking. I’m not trying to be racist or anything and I would say this was all in my head but I know for a fact it wasn’t my friend was with me and they were Hispanic and even they agreed. I wasn’t a priority to them to wait on because I was white the only white person in the entire restaurant might I add. They literally waited on every other person that was Hispanic before they would say anything to me they didn’t even offer me a drink or anything while I waited for my to-go order but everybody else got offered stuff including the person I was with. The food I ordered was really good it was called “The Gringo Meal”go figure lol so I overlooked that and I told a bunch of people at the apartments that I live in about the good food because the place is right down the street from our apartment. Unfortunately they spent $28+on a fish meal of some kind and the fish was completely burned through and through they couldn’t even eat it. When they went back the next day and tried to tell them about it they were told that they needed a receipt and to produce the burnt meal I guess. I could see the receipt but hanging onto a burnt fish overnight just to go show them in order to get their money back is a little strange if you ask me I personally wouldn’t do it. I’m not sure why they didn’t just take a picture now that I’m thinking about it. Anyways, the moral of me sharing this is that ultimately no refund was given do they were tragically out almost 30 bucks. Plus if you happen to be white or any other color besides Hispanic I would avoid this place because they are definitely racist or at least favorite their own which is understandable but not in a restaurant setting where you have customers.

Food was incredible and restaurant was super close to my hotel. Definitely a language barrier. They only sell drinks in cans/bottles and that includes water.

Food and service were good but the music was way too loud to carry on a conversation at the table during dinner!

Came here last Saturday for dinner, the place seemed a little old and run down but the food was great! It had good flavor and they gave a good portion of food. I enjoyed everything, the salsa was spicy which is a big deal for me.
The waitress was very attentive to your needs. Definitely recommend for Mexican seafood.
