I saw the great reviews here and had to try it! I went after church on a Sunday and ordered the amazing French toast with fried plantains and Nutella and cream. It was AMAZING!!!! The fresh pressed orange juice was also amazing. I got a side of bacon for $5 and it was only 4 pieces, so I’ll skip that next time. There was an open table for 2, so I sat there. I gave 4 stars for the atmosphere because the food is cooked right there and even though the exhaust was on, I still left smelling like food. I’ll be back to try more!

If I was on death row and only had one meal, La Cathedral’s Al Pastor Torta is the one I would get for my measly life. The bread is so delicious and soft, the flavors are addicting it could add 5 pounds to anyone in a 2 mile radius.
I love food and this is always my first suggestion to anyone who wants to eat good food in Philly.
The service is always so friendly and attentive. I would give up a part of my soul to figure out what’s on this sandwitch oh my God.

I got late breakfast here with my boyfriend. I had the breakfast burrito which was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. He has the catedral breakfast. We both loved our meal and agreed it was the best meal we’ve had in a while. I also had the fresh squeezed orange juice which was delicious. The service was phenomenal and I’d recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Real Mexican tasty food. All the flavors are consistently rich and well balanced. I recommend the crunchy Quesabirria tacos with the beef sauce. Try the Tamarind juice. As a small signs says: Love is the best ingredient. They have place for almost 20 seated people, hoping to see it getting bigger in the next few years.

This place is a gem. Probably the best burrito I’ve ever eaten, tightly wrapped and grill toasted. The staff provide a genuinely warm reception. I’m definitely going back. Breakfast menu looks excellent too.

Didn’t have to decide between church and brunch! I just tried La Catedral for the first time as I’ve been wanting to try this neighborhood spot for awhile. It seems like this place is slept on gem compared to other NoLibs brunch spots. We had the omelette plate and plaintain French toast and it was sooo flavorful and delicious. Will be coming here as my main brunch spot from now on.

Hard to find a parking spot but we’ll worth the hunt for a spot. Servings are very generous . Taste is great. Customer service is on point.

We passed by this restaurant many times but decided to visit today. The place is small, cozy, and nicely decorated with traditional Mexican art.
The waitress was very friendly, and accommodated us when asked about making the burritos vegetarian. The burritos had rice, beans, tomatoes, onions, crema, cheese, and avocado, and included red and green sauces. We drank guava jarritos. Overall, it’s a nice, affordable place!
Update: We have visited about 3-4 times now and have tried other dishes. The breakfast burrito, Mexican omelet, and breakfast nachos are amazing!

This was amazing authentic Mexican food. Breakfast tacos were incredible and they kindly made them vegetarian. The guacamole was great. Their chips are so good and freshly fried and perfectly salted. The green salsa is a MUST.
