Food was fantastic and fresh, servers were super nice. Only gripe I had was that the service was a bit slow, and that may have been because they were understaffed. Still worth a visit, place is pleasant.

La Casita is the perfect spot for a good breakfast or brunch after a morning at Ashwood. Stopped by Saturday morning and enjoyed a delicious serving of Chile Verde with rice and beans and an albondiga soup to kick off the meal. My wife had had the Machaca served with homestyle papas and fresh flour tortillas. The meal was amazing, the place is great with their beach vibe decor and lively music. The staff took care of us and was very friendly.

Went here on Saturday with my parents to celebrate mother’s day. Got seated quickly that’s was great. Service here has never been good so I already expected that. Not sure what happened but food was horrible. Everything tasted bitter. Not just my food but several others in my party stated the same. I go here quite often and my parents go every couple weeks. Service was still bad.

Used to be okay in terms of service, but this time it wasn’t much good. After we were seated, we had to ask for the chips and salsa. They made a mistake with my wife’s order (she asked for three chicken tacos, she got two and a ground beef one). Never checked back to be sure everything was okay. Check took forever to come.

I went to try their carne asada fries. Called for a pickup order and they were super quick with it when I arrived. However, restaurant is pretty dark, they weren’t organized when it came to charging me (they just kept letting a bunch of people go in front of me in line??). They gave practically no fries or flavoring and it’s SUPER greasy, doesn’t come with sour cream or anything else on top (just meat cheese and fries?) just not somewhere I would go again. Staff was nice though. I feel like I’m drinking oil. Fairly disappointed

We called our order in late on Fri. Normally it’s fresh. This time EVERY item was spoiled, even the cake. The chicken smelled bad taking it out of the bag. The asada was rubber. Chocolate cake Very dry, cheesecake crust tasted of sour oil.

Always amazing food and atmosphere!! We eat here frequently and every person working here is cheerful, helpful and attentive!!! Definitely recommend the Cadillac margaritas LA Casita grande burrito is what my husband always get and it stands by its name, its HUGE and delicious!! I recommend this place to everyone. Best Mexican food in the high desert. We had them caterer our niece wedding and food was great, huge portions and great pricing!!!!

Ive been coming here off and on for years. The fried fish taco used to be good. Now they look like a sliver of a piece of fried fish cut in half. Fish is dried out for what little bit of meat you get. Its mainly crust you are eating. Service and atmosphere was excellent. If I wanted to eat crust then I could stay home and eat bread.if you want fish tacos go somewhere else. Highly disappointed. I didn’t know I could post a picture or I would have taken one. Hope this is a fluke.

The waiters were NOT very attentive. I flew in from NC and wanted to treat my uncle to a nice place. The food was good, reasonably priced. But the waiters were snobby and slow. It wasn’t even busy for them. Step it up and stop giving us Latinos a bad name! We’re supposed to be known for being hospitable and family oriented.
