I recently visited La Casita Mexican Restaurant, and I wish I had read the reviews first instead of just glancing at the 4.4-star rating. It was the worst Mexican restaurant experience I’ve had. The food lacked flavor and authenticity, with the chicken tasting like it came from a can. The menu was disappointingly limited, offering only chicken and ground meat. As a group of five Mexican food lovers, we all agreed that even Taco Bell serves better fare. We ended up leaving most of the food on the table and definitely won’t be coming back!

2022 Nov 30 = Yummy veggie quesadilla, nice attentive staff
2022 Nov 7th = another nice visit, 11am on Monday for lunch, loved the strictly veggie burrito they threw together for me vegan style, otherwise very meaty menu they have, yummy complimentary chips and salsa(bean dip is extra$). Nice regular tea. Nice staff
2020ish = Nice convenient location in south park, very friendly staff, had the guacamole salad, great little place, usually roomy and not too busy or crowded.

The absolute worst service I have ever had at any restaurant. They were extremely slow and extremely rude. We had only had our food for ten minutes and asked just to hurry and finish so they could give our table to someone else. We will never return and have shared our bad experience with everyone that mentions this terrible place.

The taco salad is my go to but today I tried the chicken chimichanga and it was delicious!
You can’t go wrong with Chips and salsa and they have some pretty dang good ones.

La Casita is a small local restaurant in Twin Falls, Idaho. It has been around for many years, and offers good Mexican food in an intimate family setting. The seating is all indoors with most being booths, plus a few tables in the middle of the dining area. Customers enter, wait to be seated, then are offered menus and order in a typical sit down dining experience. Two single room restrooms are available, labeled as one for men and one for women at the back of the restaurant. The food was good, with common options such as chips, salsa, guacamole, enchiladas, taco salad, and quesadillas. The drinks are typically standard Pepsi products, and there are some dessert options of sopapilla and fried ice cream. The entrance can be a little crowded when customers are entering and wait to be seated, then others are trying to check out at the front register if the server is busy, but they do their best to keep it moving. If you have a larger group, I would strongly recommend calling ahead for a reservation. Overall, it is a nice local family sit down for Mexican food.
