I ordered the special chilaquiles, as I am a big fan of them. I was curious about the chorizo taco, since it usually shows how good a restaurant is, and the waitress kindly suggested adding chorizo to my potatoes instead. It turned out to be a fantastic choice, and the flavors were excellent.

We very much enjoyed our visit. We were greeted warmly at the door and directed to a four top. We quickly received our coffee and perused the menu.

I like to ask what the staff’s favorite dish is, and our waitress did not disappoint. I got the special chilaquiles, since I love chilaquiles anyways. I asked about a chorizo taco, because it is an indicator of a restaurant’s quality. The waitress suggested that she could have chorizo added to my potatoes instead, and I went with that.

While we waited, they brought out two salsas: a green (serrano) and a red (habanero). Both were tasty, and the red was as hot as you’d expect.

The chilaquiles were a revelation: a verse sauce and a rojo sauce over the top of crisp-tender tortillas. There were bites of cheese blended in, with with sauteed onions and a hint of garlic. So so so good!

The potatoes were unexpected too. Instead of chunks, these were thick chips of potato. Mixed with chorizo, they were excellent. I again was left wishing I could make chorizo like this.

I wish this place was 30 minutes closer to home because we’d be regulars!

We really enjoy sitting down and eating a meal ” home cooked “. The food is excellent , it’s fresh and cooked upon ordered. The ladies are so nice and sweet , reminds me of my tias house. Yes , at times there may be a wait – time but most great eateries do have them. We highly recommend this place for a good home cooked breakfast , great service and affordable pricing.

Tacos with corn tortillas are the best ! I love to come here and enjoy with my family, my kids loves the gorditas, barbacoa is our favorite from this place ! But also you can come and taste a great menudo on the weekends, my loves the menudo from this place. Everything here is delicious and also waiters are awesome

The place is a little small inside and it can feel hot at first.
The lady serving was a bit older and with an attitude however the food made up for everything. Truly, the food here is amazing.

and oh, don’t let me forget about the Agua de Jamaica. Oh my God! It’s sooo good!

Stopped in to this small cozy restaurant in my search for the best Menudo in town and was very pleased the food is cooked to order and it was very delicious. While the menudo was not the best I’ve had it was a solid 8 of 10, the star of the show here was the barbacoa taco on they homemade corn tortilla. It was buttery smooth and very tasty. We also had the chilaquiles and they were very good. Get here early the place has like 10 tables total inside and like 8 spots along the bar area.

I was recommended this place by a friend and I’m glad I decided to give it a try. The building is small and cozy, and perhaps a bit cramped. However, the bright colors, and better yet the food more than make up for the lack or space. I tried the chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, and the taco de barbacoa. I must say everything tasted like home made Mexican breakfast. Even the tortillas were freshly made. I was pleased with my visit all around and our waitress was very kind.
