Great Great spot to have lunch. It is not so much a full restaurant, but a Mexican Grocery store that has a couple of tables that they will cook you something. The food was very good. They had a great authentic flavor and you should check it out if you are in the area.

Walking in full authentic vibe, I would know, grew up in Mexico City. I bought tamales, which are truly authentic. I like the array of dry chiles and flowers which many, are essential to good recipes .
Thanks, will be back,lol.❤️

The people that work that are very friendly. It’s kind of a small place though so don’t expect to have a big party there. There’s also a Mexican store that is combined with the taco place so you can shop around while you wait for food.
I’m sure it would taste better if we ate it fresh but it still wasn’t too bad after it got cold. They separated each taco nothing falls out or gets mixed in with each other.

We love La Casta Charra. It is a Mexican restaurant and Market. The owners are super friendly, food is amazing and the atmosphere is very laid back.

Stopped by this little tienda and restaurant because I’ve always been curious about it and wanted to check it out. It is well stocked with Mexican food ingredients and snacks with a huge selection of cheeses, dried chiles and spices along with fresh meats and vegetables, very authentic.
For food, I ordered the bistec plate to go. Once home, I liked the pinto beans with the cheese, but the meat was sliced very thin and it was a bit tough. The meal also came with roasted tomatoes, green chiles, and large green onions, spicy red salsa and green salsa and a 1/2 a lime. Not bad, but it was quite expensive for the amount of food you get. Would definitely recommend the store for Mexican food ingredients, though.

Very basic, 4-5 tables in a space shared with the market part of the store. Everything I’ve had here has been so fresh and delicious. The salsas are just right salty/sour but be warned they are pretty hot if you’re not used to it.
The menu is small but full of authentic dishes. The soups have been a lifesaver this winter. Pictured is chicken soup – it was two huge bone in pieces. Plus a side of rice and tortilla and avocado
I am always a fan of tongue, and their lingua torta is solid. I’ve really enjoyed the various agua frescas too. You can order ahead tamales and pick up to take home at very reasonable prices.

Grab a few groceries and a great meal!
Pechuga a la Plancha, add the chorizo for $1 is my favorite. Comes with delicious, big portion of chicken and chorizo sausage and rice and beans, tortillas, a piece of avocado and some veg. FRESH ingredients! The dishes are not greasy. Perfectly spiced and seasoned.
I’ve grabbed some groceries too…I got corn husks and masa harina to make tamales and some snacks. Love this spot!
The guy who works the counter on Sundays is super nice and helpful.
