We were visiting CA with friends who are from LA. A local resident (our friends Mom) wanted to take us to her favorite Mexican restaurant for cinco de Mayo. The atmosphere was nice. The food was ok and the margaritas were weak. The staff was nice. Overall, we enjoyed the company, but it didn’t give us the desire to eat here again.

I was driving to my favorite pho restaurant and smelled something good (fried onions) so I turned into American road trip ( but it was closed down) so I drove next store la casitas and that’s why I went in smelled wonderful so I ordered the fajitas $22.00 taisted old left over from the last week-end and the beans and rice where also left over microwaved food I was so disappointed I give this place 1 chance and that’s it I will never return The only reason I didnt complain was the Hispanic waitress and the blonde waitress where so great with the service I know my food… I know when food is left over and over cooked twice because it burns on the skillet and doesnt sizzle and that’s just what I got …horrible !!!sour cream was old guacamole wasn’t fresh it was a brown color I see this resturant closing permanently in the next few months take my advice and spend your money at del taco I waisted $60.00

Probably one of the best Mexican restaurant in town.
Can’t never go wrong with their burritos, or quesadillas. They offer happy hours and will always serve you chips and salsa. Friendly servers. Always love going back.

I’m going to give this place 3 instead of 2 stars. I’m not sure if they were understaffed or what. So benefit of the doubt given. But really there is no reason drinks should take as long as they did but whatever. The food took awhile too but I really only seen a couple waitresses so maybe understaffed. But then again only a couple tables had people so hrm. But the food was decent not write home about but not bad. And the the staff was nice. Yeah they’re getting three stars but no I’m not going back. But if you’ve got time to kill the food isn’t bad.

The restaurant is very beautiful, seating is nicely spaced out, and outdoor seating gives you a nice view of the hilltop. We stayed inside since it’s summer and too hot.

The serving sizes are large and if get a taco or enchilada with meat, they give you a good portion inside as opposed to other restaurants where it’s a small portion in the center. Their staff are super friendly and relaxing spanish music plays in the background.

I got the enchilada and taco plate but couldn’t finish it. My husband got the fried fish and was in heaven. He gave me some and it was heavenly! It is literally an entire fish, so if you can’t handle seeing a fish head, maybe ask them to cut it off.

Oh and if you’re like my husband, you can ask for spicier salsa than the default one.

Definitely will be back with friends and family!!

– Eating inside is terrible. You have to listen to loud traditional spanish music and loud country music playing at the same time. And they won’t turn either down. Couldn’t wait to leave. 🙁

Customer service was good. Atmosphere was tough. Kinda loud The restaurant is smaller than I liked. Hard to get around in the wheelchair without disturbing others. I felt that there were better Mexican restaurants in yucaipa

We’ve come here a few times recently. Friendly and efficient staff. Food prices seem on par for a sit-down Mexican restaurant. We got the fried ice cream tonight. Super good, and a trip down memory lane. Will return here for food and margaritas sometime.

It is a pleasure being a guest at La Casita. The atmosphere is pleasant and reminiscent of a mission with vibrant Mexican colors, architrue and artwork. The hosts are attentive and responsive. And the food is top notch. I ordered the sizzlin’ steak fajitas, so juicy and tender. Sizzlin’ and cracking, the aroma filled the room while the steam trailed the dish as it is was carried out by our waiter. My beautiful wife was not so daring, and she ordered the chicken taquitos, also referred to as rolled tacos, with guacamole and sour cream on the side. Although not as exciting as sizzlin’ steak fajitas, this dish was satisfying nonetheless. Who doesn’t like tacquitos. Additionally, my wife ordered a Margherita to top off her dining experience. This drink was delicious to say the least, and the drink was so huge, that I had to help her get through it all. Overall, it was a worthwhile adventure.
