Happy new years, was craving menudo to cure the hangover and found this little gem , it was served hot and it was delicious. My Girlfriend had chorizo and eggs and that was very good as well, the staff were very attentive and courteous, the decor is very beautiful nice looking like cantina, the restrooms were very clean, it was a block off the main road, but worth the search. When in Camp Verde AZ. Definitely give this little gem a try.

Decent experience. The chips and salsa with beans was a treat. Service was great I had the pork carnitas and my husband had shrimp tacos. There was 3 small shrimp in each taco, and quite a bit of mayo sauce – disappointing.
However, this is the best Mexican spot in camp verde so we do eat here on occasion.

Great spot for lunch! We really enjoyed the veggie fajitas that were vegetarian and gluten free with a spot on margarita! My dining partner had a chicken burrito that was pretty good too! We also could not get enough of the chips and salsa. The service and ambiance of dining outside were really nice too! Glad we stopped here on our road trip!

Stop by La Casita this morning coming back from Happy Jack and it was a quick google search for breakfast. This place definitely did not disappoint. We ordered the menudo (honeycomb) not tripe not a fan of honeycomb but it was good. We also ate the green chili and creamy chicken and the pollo deluxe burrito. The service was so good show out to these ladies for working so hard. Definitely stop by here for Mexican food.

Stopped in for Sunday breakfast, party of 4 sat immediately. Waitress was friendly and provided us with recommendations. The portions were large and tasted great. We had the green chile carne rice and beans, carne asada burrito, pollo a la crema and menudo.

La Casita Mexican Restaurant – Camp Verde, Arizona
La Casita Mexican Restaurant in Camp Verde delivered a truly enjoyable dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. Warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, the staff made us feel right at home, and that hospitality went a long way in making our visit memorable.
The food was delicious, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. Each dish came out hot and well-prepared, with generous portions and great presentation. We especially appreciated the depth of seasoning and the freshness of the ingredients.
The only small drawback for us was the tortillas. While the taste was fine, they tended to fall apart when we picked them up, which made enjoying tacos or handheld items a bit messy.
That said, the overall experience was excellent and we would not hesitate to return. If you are in Camp Verde and craving great Mexican food with top-tier service, La Casita is definitely worth a visit.

Soooo flavorful! I had the 2 item combo plate…. an enchilada and a chili relleńo. Every bite was a lesson on what authentic Mexican food is supposed to taste like. The relleńo wasn’t the typical chili rolled in a pancake batter, but was the way it’s suppose to be. This place has just become my next have to go to for Mexican food…. the flavor standard mark just got raised. Double thumbs up.
