What a charming little Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was tranquil. The service was good – seated promptly and a waitress checked in immediately to get us drinks. I loved the small touches, cloth napkins and fresh bread. The soup was hot and freshly made. The lettuce in the small salads was crisp and reasonably priced ($2.50). Both marinara and meat sauce was excellent. So tasty! The spaghetti was perfect- neither too soft or chewy. Stop by, you won’t be disappointed.

Came around 3 pm and it was not busy. Atmosphere was really good and service was fast. I tried their casereccio boscaiola and it was legit so amazing! The flavor was amazing and it was warm and fresh. The prices are fair as well! Will definitely come back soon and try their other dishes!

Great, honest people and amazing food… can’t say enough good things about these folks except authenticity all around. This is definitely my favorite restaurant in the area. We always feel so welcome when we walk in there. We are super excited to have them catering our wedding later this year. Haven’t had a dish yet that I don’t absolutely love at La Casetta. Highly recommend!

Great place for Italian food! The tortellini was awesome!!! Now I have a tortellini place. The bruschetta was to die for (just like in Italy). Good place for big parties and the service was good. Left some pics so check it out.

We showed up at 5:30 on a Saturday night with no reservations. A wonderful young man found us a table and from there the restaurant staff took great care of us. All the food was excellent though we could have used a little more bread for our table.

This evening we took a break from our little road trip to have an early dinner in New Bern at La Casetta. At the door, the hostess informed us that they had only one table available that didn’t have reservations if we could be finished before 7 PM. We decided to go for it, and everything came out in a very timely fashion, so it all worked out for everyone.

Very disappointed! Large group of us ordered several different entrees and were not impressed (chewy calamari, cold chicken cutlet, tough veal, uninspired sauces. Service was great but, judging by the high review scores, we expected much better quality and authentic Italian food.

We ordered the lasagna, fettuccine alfredo and garlic bread. We were less than impressed with the overly sweet lasagna, extremely bland and watered down Alfredo sauce. The garlic bread was bread, I couldn’t say it was ever toasted. For a Friday might I was expecting much better food.

Rice balls they Hardly Had any rice in them I also had a chicken parm sandwich It was so dry no cheese on it hardly just was a waste of money. I waited a long time to go there. I’m on a fixed income. And today I finally said I’m gonna do it and I’m so disappointed. I didn’t even eat my food. My husband got a sausage sub which wasn’t chichi bad. You didn’t eat it but for thirty five dollars it was definitely not worth it I might go back one more time just to try the homemade pasta. But I don’t think that I think that be about the only thing I would try

Ordered Shrimp Scampi which was not on menu but was informed that chef could make. When opened discovered only given 5 Shrimp for a $20.00 dish. Called to ask about the quantity of shrimp and informed that 5 shrimp was correct. There was very little sauce on the noodles. Very disappointing.
