Authentic tasting tacos found here at Camp North End. The food is a bit pricey, but you are getting some high quality food here.

I wanted something small, and I got two al pastor tacos. They were smokey, sweet and savory. I wish had ordered more after I finished the two, but I was in a bit of a rush.

There are plenty of benches and seats around the area for you to enjoy the food. You can also walk around the park and find some nice art to see too.

I ordered two empanadas and a taco asada. These were SO GOOD that I will definitely be going back to try EVERYTHING on the menu. Big love to the ladies in the kitchen for their excellent food!

Had 2 empanadas and was not impressed. That was not steak, more like roast beef. It also didn’t have any egg, onions, or peppers either. Very small portions. Service was good but I won’t eat here again.

Very nice people. Food was made to order.

I got both pupusas. There was so much beans in both. You couldn’t tasted the pork and there was barely any cheese. The beans seep out and leave the pupusa barely filled. Marina was bland. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Waited a long time for these tacos and it was worth the wait! The asada tacos were perfectly marinaded and melt in the mouth tender. The tortillas were warm and chewy (homemade) and the sauce was great. Probably my favorite taco in Charlotte right now.

(Update 07-01-20) I went back again and the meat was over cooked and tortillas were dry. I think it’s because they were slow but the tacos were not nearly as good as last time unfortunately. Taking off one star. I will still come back.

Located in the North End Complex this is a hole in the wall gem! In all of North Carolina, this is the only place where I have seen them do tacos Al Pastor the way they are suppose to be done, on a stand up Rotisserie with layers of onions & pineapples. Their tacos are very traditional. The Argentinian Empanadas are also traditional with meat and olives…..yes, olives inside. The pastry is the proper format and consistency. Only outdoor seating available but that’s ok. The ladies are very friendly and efficient. You want a Real Taco……this is the place!

Loved the Argentinian meat empanada and the arepa — both were super tasty, fresh and full of flavor! I’ll confess… I added a little extra salt but that’s just my Latina taste buds kicking in — either way, delicious comfort food! .
@campnorthend has it all!

Very pleasant, nice food, small portions for the price but good quality food. Pretty sure we were missing a dish but no receipt and with 3 of us ordering there was a little confusion. We would visit again if in the area.

BEST Spanish/Latin food I’ve had in years. Everything was so fresh and reasonably priced. Taco Asada, Pupusa Revueltas and Arepa Rumbera. I’ll definitely be back to try their cute little sweet treats.
