Stopped in at the latest edition of Rogelio Hernandez’s chain of Mexican cuisine restaurants called, La Casa Tequila Mexican Restaurant in Brooklyn! The location is easy to see (I-480) and in front of Key Bank with plenty of parking. Seeing how they just opened on Memorial Day weekend, I’d keep my expectations at a minimum, but, was surprised at the fluidity of the staff! As I sat at the bar, I was instantly greeted w/warm chips & salsa and the bartender (Cavs gear, nice!) made a nice margarita! I ordered the fajitas, drank my margarita and paid less than $20, w/tip!! C’mon, where can you get treated like a king, drink & eat on the cheap and feel satisfied? I’ll tell ya, La Casa Tequila, that’s where! Ask for Rogelio!

This place is what you call real Mexican food! Their prices are great and the food is prepared for you in a timely manner even if your on the go. This is a great addition to Brooklyn area near KeyBank and LA Fitness.

It was a cute restaurant…. the margaritas were great! The food was average…. the service was as slow as a herd of turtles!!!!!!!! Our server (#5) according to the bill was missing in action pretty much our entire dinner…. the runner actually got our refills and extra sour cream for us…. I tried to tip him, cause he was awesome, but he wouldn’t accept it…. maybe make him a server and her a helper…he’d make a killing in tips…

Found my new favorite Mexican cuisine restaurant. The staff was super friendly and the food is amazing! Food is very fresh and the quality is superb. Atmosphere is family friendly and very inviting. Prices were very reasonable and quantity of food is abundant. Overall, was the best Mexican food I had in along time.

We tried for the first time on Sat. June 2nd & was greeted very friendly at the front & seated promptly. We had a party of four. There was a little delay before our server came over to get our drink order & to bring chips & salsa. I think it may have been confusion to who had our table. But after that service was great. We ordered & our food arrived quickly, hot & fresh & looking so tasty. The margarita was great ( jumbo peach) & had plenty of Tequila in it. The food was fabulous & plentiful & we all had leftovers to take home. Our server was Ramon & he was charming & delightful. Highly recommend you give this place a try. will definitely go back !!!

Food was amazing. First time trying the restaurant and will absolutely be back. I got the Popeye Pollo and a beef soft taco. Ground beef had a great flavor. The chicken was well seasoned and flavorful. Salsa provided with the meal (the Verde one) was yummy as well.
