Definitely feels like a spot to go on a date, the interior design felt very comfy. There was a bunch of pillows and fancy looking silverware. The food itself was very filling even thought they didn’t give you that much. We also got their pizza which was 8 dollars off on wednsdays.

lovely little sit down restaurant with a super cute interior design scheme. we ordered two pizzas and a pasta. very creative and interesting fusion flavors! i really enjoyed the yakult berry drink and the salmon pasta. would definitely come again, especially if they bring back the previous dessert selection.

This place is a hidden gem, the location was not easy parking, but the interior space was cute and floral, our food was great, we ordered one pizza, one pasta and one fries, it’s enough to feed three people with a fair price. I love pizza, very Italian taste! Our pasta was chewy & juicy!! I believe we definitely want to come again!

I have heard a lot about this place and it has been on my radar for a while. Went with some colleagues. First of all, this place serves some seriously delicious and great value food for sure!
We ordered a variety of food – from the risotto to pizza and pasta. Their salmon shimeji mushroom risotto was so flavorful with strong umami taste. Only surprise and complaint was the serving portion too little/small.
I think the risotto and the Mentaiko mochi mayo cheese pizza are the highlights! The spicy cod roe and mentaiko mayo and mochi added to the pizza gave it a uniquely delicious and creamy texture with thin crispy crust that we like. I would come back for these two dishes.
We also had their vegetable pomodoro pasta which has good flavor profile but nothing special in my opinion.
Service was average. Kept asking if we needed any other order (few times- once not long after we were seated and our food has not been served to us yet?!). I guess the waitress and kitchen wanted to wrap up by 2pm for their break. That was the only complaint I have.
Ambiance – they have two outside tables for those who like outdoor dining. Parking can get a little tough in that plaza during day.

I have been wanting to try this restaurant since it opened and I finally had the chance to get off work a little earlier! We arrived at 12:55. The interior of La Casa Mia is quaint and inviting. We ordered the pasta Carbonara and mentaiko Spaghetti. The food itself was fresh & delicious however it was extremely hard to enjoy our food with a group of teen waiters and waitresses cleaning both tables on the right and left of us. The screeching of the chairs and clattering of utensils and plates, the banging was so loud we couldn’t hold a conversation. I understand the waiters wanted to close up and it really felt that they wanted us to get out of there. Not subtle at all. We left before I finished my meal.
Overall a great meal but just a so so experience.

Food is good but not exceptional.
Takoyaki has nice presentation.
I would recommend to order any kind of pizza.
The fusion pasta are also good.

Went for dinner- My favorite was the tofu pizza (age), it was a good portion to share and was a good fusion with tofu, soy sauce, and cheese and it was a thin crust. The pastas I thought were fine, the portions were small and didn’t hit as much of a fusion taste as the pizza. The reason why I say it’s not as fusion is because I feel like it was a regular spaghetti dish with a bit of fish roe on top/side. The curry casserole was also ok, lacked a bit of kick in the flavor and was a small portion as well. Other than it’s a really great environment with nice indoor and outdoor seating and a little Photo Booth area with props.

This restaurant combines the flavor pallets of Japanese and Italian cuisine in a very interesting way. I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing flavors they came up with. I had an Italian meat sauce and a pork cutlet on top that was made Japanese style. The flavors blended perfectly. You must try this place.

Pastas were amazing. Apparently the mentaiko cream pasta is very popular. My personal favorites were:
– seafood pescatore (bianco): so much flavor in the soup sauce from all of the seafood!
– carbonara: lots of umami from the Parmesan (but maybe also tasted a hint of beef? broth)
Cooked on the firmer side, but I personally might prefer a little firmer – I will consider asking for al dente next time.

A friend recommended this place so I decided to pay a visit. Overall, the food is good. For drinks, I had the ume soju cocktail — tastes okay, but the drink menu lacks creativity and feels like something I could easily recreate at home. We had the honey mustard chicken as an appetizer and the Mentaiko cream pasta as the main course. The pasta was excellent, with a creamy and well-balanced flavor. The fried chicken, however, had a coating that was too thick, which made it a bit heavy.
