The best Mexican restaurant in the town of Clintwood, Virginia. The food is wonderful, and the wait staff has become like family members to us. The atmosphere is great and comfortable. I highly recommend La Casa to your family and friends.

We order almost weekly it’s so good. However, they are not open long enough as is because we are a small town. So tell me why they lock the doors 30 to 45 minutes before closing and take the phone off the hook. If you’re closing at 8 just close at 8 don’t say you’re open till 9 and avoid all customers

You’re not going to walk out of this place without dropping a $20 bill per person. I’m not certain how they do it, because I have purposefully tried to keep my bill at $15 or less and still end up paying over $20. They raised their prices in 2017 and some dishes are now without reach of the local economy.
The staff are not friendly and your service may or may not be fast depending on who your wait staff is. Someone said they “treat you like family,” however I have yet to experience that treatment in the years they have been in Clintwood. Most of the time they sit at a table on their cellphones and at checkout you will always wait for someone to notice you’re ready to leave. The wait staff NEVER smile and you rarely receive a refill, it just depends on the day. In other words, they’re not consistent in service.
The food is atypical Tex-Mex style with a burrito and side of beans and rice for example. I can take it or leave it depending on how hungry I am.

I came into town for a family reunion and this spot was across from the hotel I was staying at. The food was served hot, quickly and was delicious. The service was phenomenal and everyone from the waitress to the cashier were extremely friendly.
