The food was one of the saltiest I’ve had in a long time. My mouth felt numb because of it and I dont usually notice stuff like that. Additionally we mentioned a few times that we dont eat meat and got a vegiterian dish but it came with meat even after double checking it wouldn’t (apparently it was a misclick on the order screen from the server). The rest of it seemed like it was in a hurry too. The cheese wasnt melted and it seemed thrown together.

The chips and salsa were decent. Their Pico was good but the other sauce seemed like straight up just tomato sauce and the spicy green sauce was more spice than flavor. They all come free though and the chips were good so we appreciated it.

The staff was nice and for the amount of tables one person had, they were pretty quick. The atmosphere was good with standard Mexican blankets, instruments, etc. They had a few yard glasses (the really long ones with a rounded bottom) which is interesting since those dont have much to do with mexico but they are cool anyway so it still adds to the atmosphere.

Overall a bit of a disappointment on my end.

Food was good. Portions were a bit small. Expected a larger burrito, seemed like they were half the size they should be. Otherwise the taste was really good. Both Steak and Fajita Burritos had a good taste. Ordered the pineapple jalapeno margarita, and to be honest it was nasty. Was way too bitter, but was a sleeper margarita. Couldn’t taste the tequila in it though the bitterness of the drink, but felt it about 30mins later. Speaking of 30mins… After seated we sat for a good 30-40mins before our order was taken. They were a little busy, but not that busy. The waitress was very apologetic, but we watched her walk by our table 20 times.

I love that I have found them. I drive up from Fountain sometimes twice a month. Never disappointed. They often have a large crowd with people waiting. Once your seated it isn’t a long wait for your food and it’s always good. They aren’t stingy with the chips and salsa either. Friendly staff good food have gotten in and out in a timely manner.

We really had high expectations for this place, considering it was always crowded. But it ended up the opposite. Maybe we’re just spoiled with great Mexican food at home, but we couldn’t stomach this. The salsa tasted like a can of crushed tomatoes, the margarita comes in a tall plastic glass like a soda, and the enchilada sauce was watery and also like it was poured from a can. The taco shell was ice cold. We left without finishing. To make it worse, some drunk guy peed all over my husband’s foot while in the bathroom. The servers and the hostesses were awesome! Best part of the place.

Great place – We absolutely loved it. The Margaritas were fantastic – I had the Pineapple & Jalapeño margarita and I will definitely be going for another one. We had the Mexican Pizza which is an absolute win – it is great. I would highly recommend this spot for a really good experience

Zero stars if possible. We reserved a Tuesday 23rd for our employee holiday celebration for 6pm 14 people. We watched as large parties who arrived after us got seated. At 630 after arriving at 5:45, they actually said it was because we didn’t have a reservation???? We made it over a week prior. We finally get seated 6:45 for 12 people having to squeeze in another place for 2 more! The food was mediocre at best and they ran out of our appetizer order, at 7 pm on a Tuesday???? Never ever ever again! I was embarrassed and they RUINED our holiday celebration
Think twice before coming here, Taco Bell is a better choice!!
Kids were running the seating and it was a nightmare! Save yourself the same aggravation and go elsewhere

This is my favorite Mexican food place in the greater Colorado Springs area. Their chips are always fresh and crisp. On the thinner side, which I love! Fresh salsa, they serve 2, plain one just tastes like tomatoes, so not my favorite, but the other one tastes homemade and really flavorful! Never had anything there that wasn’t good and their “handmade” margarita is VERY good! Perfect blend of fresh orange and lime juice, orange liqueur and tequila! The price point I picked, included the top notch margarita and a 20% tip.

Ordered two margs. A Silverado $12.43 and Pineapple/Jalapeno $9. For food A taco burrito and a bean and cheese burrito with lettuce and avocado added, dry. We had chips and salsa. Two extra shots. $8.23. The bill was $90. We have tried to give this place chance after chance but this visit was just too much. The food came out rushed and thrown on our table. The b&c burrito had no cheese and no avo. Had staff come see so they wouldn’t think we were scamming. Just didn’t want to be charged.

Silverado margarita was 4ounces. I measured. See pic.

We are so happy that we accidentally stumbled upon this place! We were taking back roads to Denver, and we’re just going to grab something there. However, our tummies started disliking that decision as were were checking out downtown Monument and drove by La Casa.
“Mexican food?” “YEP!”
It’s such a beautiful restaurant, and I didn’t even see the inside lol. We sat outside on a nice day. Now here’s the thing. As a former Texan, I’m ALWAYS on the hunt for good Tex Mex or authentic Mexican. When I say the food is good, you just need to believe me.
In a state that thinks chopping a few veggies up in a bowl of tomato sauce is salsa, I was very, very happy with the chips and salsa!! It tastes like real salsa! Chips were warm and fresh.
The best way to enjoy chips and salsa is with a Peach Mojito and a Pineapple Jalapeno Margarita. Both were delicious, but there wasn’t any jalapeno flavor. Just a few rings of fresh jalapeno. I suggest infusing some tequila with the fresh jalapeno to give it a bite!
My wife ordered Chicken Enchiladas with Cream Sauce. In Texas, Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas are a staple, but you can only get red and green sauce in Colorado. No chili con carne, chili con queso, or sour cream sauce in Colorado. The cream sauce here is outstanding! Not quite the same, but satisfied the craving. I had the Tamale and Chili Colorado plate. For the Texans, Chili Colorado is similar to Guiso, or Carne Guisada. It’s a deep red sauce, full of flavor. La Casa once again killed a craving I’ve had. I could seriously sit down with a plate full of the Chili Colorado and tortillas. So good! The tamale was really delicious as well!
I really encourage EVERYONE reading this to stop looking at other restaurants, and go to La Casa Fiesta!
