Such a great place! The food goes way beyond typical restaurants – it’s fresh and tastes authentic! We love the tacos and chips and salsa. We also had a great dish that let us try shrimp, carne asada, chicken, chorizo and tons of cheese and veggies. Our server was really friendly and helpful. Thanks Nathalie! Tables are pretty close together, but we had fun conversing with strangers. We will go back!!!

This place was amazing. It was our first time here. The staff was amazing and very friendly and helpful. We waited maybe 15 min, if that, for our table. The food was all good and didn’t disappoint. Very flavorful and spice levels were accurately described by our server. We will be coming back.

Our meal was completely fabulous! We shared the Molcajete and tacos between 4 people and it was the perfect amount of food. The service was also great! Our server walked us through the menu and gave us recommendations based on what she likes and what was popular. I would definitely come back when in SLC again!

Incredible place. Wow. We drove across the valley to try it out, per my friend’s recommendation and it did not disappoint. The best carne asada I’ve ever had. So tender and the seasoning incredible. Fun atmosphere. Unique food options. Chips and salsa delicious, guacamole amazing, and our server Maricela was a blast. She was so much fun and allowed us to speak our poor Spanish with her. Excited to return!

We knew it must be good because it was PACKED like sardines in there. Got our order to go and it was ready before we got our dessert in the next parking lot over! The rice was the best rice I’ve ever had at a restaurant and everything was fresh, fresh, fresh. Will be back next time we’re in town!!! Honestly I was very impressed with our experience!
The staff was very polite, and prompt. Every facet was well orchestrated. My wife and I ordered two cocktails that were absolutely beautiful. A few minutes later our main dishes arrived, no detail missed, with an amazing presentation.

A favorite amongst our friends. We’ve come here repeatedly and have a great experience every time. The service is top tier. The server we just had last night was very polite and kind. The surrounding staff are also very welcoming and helpful. This place was extremely busy around 6pm on a Friday, took about 30 minutes to get seated.
My favorite here is definitely the Tacos de Birria con Consume. They are great flavor and very filling. I like being able to split it with my boyfriend and still feeling satisfied for the night. We love their house made horchata, salsa, and guac.
I tried the tamales last night, which I thought were going to be fantastic because of the restaurant name. I found the tamales to be very disappointing and I stupidly ordered 12 of them because I adore everything else they serve. The tamales were very dry and crumbled apart. The Mole tamale wasn’t at all wet like expected. The Rojo con Puerco was okay in flavor but very little meat and also dry.
I will still come back, but I will not order the tamales again. I like the ones the ladies in Walmart lots sell more since they have more meat, sauce and flavor. Their Birria Tacos are still a winner.

The food was amazing! 5/5. I wanted to give this restaurant 5 stars the service was not there for me. The waitress we had disappeared on us. She was the worst I ever had. I should have gotten her name. Never asked how the food was or anything. We needed more chips for the salsa and guac and never received any. I had to ask another waiter to bring the check. I may be back one day, but one waitress messed up the whole experience for us.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in the U.S.! The food is incredibly delicious, with a truly homemade touch. The sauces are amazing — especially the flavorful beef broth for dipping the tacos. I also tried tamales here for the first time that I actually really enjoyed!
The service was impeccable. The place is clean, well-decorated, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
If I had to mention one small suggestion, it would be about the background music — it was a bit loud and made conversation slightly difficult at our table, but that may have just been because we were seated close to a speaker.
