It has been many years since I’ve been here. My first at this location. Great food, service, and atmosphere. Just like I remembered. Bonus, the band was there. They asked for a request and played Elvis for me!

First time ever having lunch with my boyfriend. I really enjoyed their green salsa enchiladas with Mexican rice and beans. The BEST. I loved their beans and rice. We enjoyed black beans, avocado and Mexican salsa (warm) with chips. I loved the black beans and avocado. Waitress was excellent. Place looks very nice up front. My boyfriend’s chile rellenos look good too. I would gladly go back and enjoy a great meal again. Thank you for the excellent service.

Ordered for take out. Food was delicious and just as good as eating in. Large portions and plenty for another meal. Server was friendly. Prices reasonable compared to other restaurants in area.

Its alright. The food was better this time then last. I find the salsa was a touch spicy tonight but keep in mind that I am not a big fan of spice. I had the chicken nachos with beans added.

Goes back to pre Iron Horse days in the 70’s. Mr Constantio (that’s how I call him) goes back a little ways. He owned the property Golden Corral is on. Sold me additional Sq footage to put my building (Great Southern Computer Systems, Inc) on, after I acquired the Enterprise Dr side of the lot. Just voted best Mexican restaurant with The Comet. Each time we go, always consistently good.

I really want to like La Casa because who doesn’t want more great Mexican places to eat, not to mention the patio could be a fun place to eat, drink and listen to live music, but every time we go, we leave disappointed.

Recently, friends of ours from out of town wanted to go to see a specific band play. As we left the restaurant, they said “this is the first time I’ve ever eaten here and definitely the last.”

It’s similar issues every time. The waiter brought one menu for the 4 of us to share and when asked for a drink menu, just said “we’re waiting for them to be printed”. Why not offer a “try our margaritas, they’re great” or “we make a good……..” as an alternative.

We were checked on so infrequently, we had to get up multiple times to find someone to get refills, ask for the check and pay the check.

The food is just as bad. The chips aren’t fried tortilla chips like all other Mexican restaurants, they’re just plain, cold, bought from the grocery store chips. But the strangest part is their salsa. It’s literally warmed up spaghetti sauce. It tastes and smells like jar spaghetti sauce. Check out other reviews, especially yelp, you’ll see lots of spaghetti sauce comments, it’s extremely odd.

The beans are usually OK, the rice is slightly hard and the rest of the food is surprisingly bland and sometimes doesn’t taste as fresh as other Mexican restaurants.

There’s other options in town which offer consistently great tasting food and an attentive wait staff.
