I absolutely adore dining at this restaurant! It’s locally owned and offers hearty portions. We always leave with at least 2 to-go boxes. It’s a mystery to me why it isn’t bustling every night.

I like authentic Mexican and this wasn’t it. Food was very bland with no taste but the grease. I was just passing through on a road trip so maybe this is how Nebraska gets down but I’m not into it.

We wanted to step out of the box and skip the “chain restaurant”.
Waitress was very friendly and working her a** off. Food was less than mediocre. Salsa did not have flavor. I got the fried chicken and fried beef tacos and again had no flavor, no seasoning, nothing. Others i went with had enchilda which was shredded chicken and cheese wrapped in a tortilla with gravy. Again lacking flavor. Would not recommend.

So pros, the service was good. The wait staff was friendly and willing to work around the menu. The steak quesadilla was great! It was my favorite part of the meal. The salsa was nice and spicy. The refried beans were also good, and i liked the beef burrito, but all there was was beef. Didnt really seem like any cheese, onions, cilantro or anything else were in it, and so it was sort of bland. It didnt taste like a burrito so much as a beef wrap.
I didnt care for the gravy, and really didnt like that the rice was covered in it.
Other than that, friendly service.

Food was much better than I was expecting being from South Texas (Laredo). Everything had pretty good flavor but was a bit greasy and the need hotter salsa. But definitely good. I had the chili relleno.

Great service! Our server Sara remembers us from prior visits, is friendly and patient with our children, and always gets our orders correct. Portions are HUGE and drink specials are always available. Great food! Be sure to try the chips with gravy. Yum!

Was good food, good service with the surprise of HOW BIG THE SUPER BURRITO WAS!!! Yes folks it’s a biggie. I would admit I think the protein portion should outweigh the rest, ya know more steak (or beef/chicken) than rice etc. I like to bite into steak from 1st bite to last. Regardless, I had a good meal a few cold beers and was happy.
