The food was awesome. I’ve been looking for a place that does good mofongo in NJ and this place is definitely very good. The mofongo was not to soft or to hard but the perfect texture. Many meat and veggie options to choose from. It’s a Dominican restaurant so expect spanish and that dominican vibe❤️.

I hate to admit this is the best Dominican food I have even when I am in the DR. The spot in the Heights used to be my spot however, I can’t seem to know what makes this Patterson location the best. Yes Patterson NJ has a bad reputation but trust me, I fly from Los Angeles to the East Coast, I never missed an opportunity. I even froze the beans and brought them to California. Don’t sleep on the Henny Colada either. Everyone is super nice and welcoming and full of gratitude.

We went on a Sunday around 7pm. There wasn’t too many people so that was nice, but there wasn’t a problem with the kitchen and wait time. They apologized and were professional, but it did take 45 minutes to get our food.
Overall the meal was really good, a bit on the pricier side, but the meal was shown adequately.

Great Mofongo place with attentive staff and a comfy atmosphere. Went here shortly after they opened at 12PM and it was still empty, pretty sure the place would be super popular around dinner time or on the weekends. We had the Mofongo with chicharrones and the Mofongo with Vegetables, both were great and kept us full all day.
