This place has great mexican food like no other place. It’s a hidden gem, really. The food is authentic and great taste. I have been to hundreds of Mexican places and luckily this place is near my house. Authentic food, friendly service at all times and great micheladas. Kalaveras is across the street but it doesn’t compare to the food quality of this place.

Hot and muggy inside. The AC is working. Just conservative with setting it at a comfortable temperature. In addition to being hot, the food I ordered was too spicy. I was not aware it would be that spicy. I wish the server would have warned me. I ordered the pork ribs with red sauce. It was not my 1st choice. Only because they did not have a carnitas plate. What’s up with that? It’s like going to a Chinese restaurant and they don’t have fried rice. Food taste was mediocre. Not worth sitting in a hot and muggy restaurant when it’s 90 degrees outside.

Went in for a quick lunch and had 2 street tacos. Shredded beef & al pastor the chips & salsa came with them. Food was fresh as well as chips & salsa. Out the door for 5.00. Very reasonable.
