Excellent experience. I had the quesabirrias, and they were delicious, very well served and full of amazing flavor.
My husband ordered the chilaquiles in red sauce, very spicy just the way he likes them, and he loved them.
The service was excellent; our waitress was very kind and attentive. We also tried the house coffee, which was very good.
We liked this place so much that my husband is coming back today to meet his friends here.
Highly recommended!

Wow! Thank you Karla for your amazing service, kindness, and attention. We came here on thanksgiving morning and ate the red chilaquiles with machaca, huevos rancheros, and a fruit waffle. Every thing was flavorful and delicious. The food came out quickly. This was our first time trying Sinaloan machaca and it was absolutely delicious. The best part though, was how kind and friendly Karla (our server) was. We love when we are greeted with a smile. They were playing Juan Gabriel so that made our meal even better!

We wanted to try a breakfast location other than going back to our usual place. Their service is amazing. Their waiter was very attentive refilling out water and coffee cup. The coffee was a little too weak for me. I like my coffee stronger. We ordered: Salmon Benedict, Steak and Egg, Mojarra (fried fish), meat omelette, and waffle. Our food was good. Yummy. I would come again, but would try something different.

New restaurant in San Mateo, located on the busy El Camino Real next to the popular Taste & Glory. This unassuming restaurant serves traditional American and Mexican breakfast items, and the delicious Quesabirria is a must-try! There are also many choices for lunch and dinner, such as sushi, burgers, sandwiches, salads, in addition to a wide variety of Mexican dishes. Lots of items for kids as well. Solid addition to the San Mateo food scene. Fast and friendly service. Free parking lot in the back fills up quickly, but there’s free street parking within a 5-minute walk in the residential streets.

Fantastic flavors with a very friendly staff. The shrimps empanada made me feel like I was in Mexico. Chilaquiles and machine had a very authentic flavor. Put this one on your list.

I was recently introduced to this restaurant by a co worker and I am so thankful that she did because this is now my new favorite place to eat and have a drink,,the mango margarita is now my go to drink,,I really like that they used real riped mango to make it,,I also had their Mexican inspired sushi with sesame soy sauce dip and the so very fresh and tangy ceviche with shrimp and octopus..I cannot wait to try the rest of the menu!!

I wanted us to try somewhere new to eat and picked this place. Inside it looked like a regular restaurant. It even had an upstairs. The gentleman who greeted us was nice and after a while we realized, he seemed to be the only waiter, or doing it all but cooking. They had affordable specials that even included coffee
We ordered:
1. Pancake special – Standard staple but tasty
2. Joe’s scramble – mom enjoyed this that she devoured it.
3. Corn beef hash- Didn’t look that appealing but it was delicious. It would’ve tasted even better if we had a side of rice.
4. Breakfast burger – my niece enjoyed this and said it was flavorful.
5. Steak and eggs – I ordered it medium. At first it was juicy and flavorful but then dried out. The onions and mushrooms were a good touch.
6. Cornflakes french toast – I was s little disappointed, as pretty as it was. It was missing that crunch from the cornflakes.
Overall, the place wasn’t bad. Maybe it was just an off day.

Food was great, but unfortunately they don’t have enough help for Sunday crowds. It was extremely busy, it took us 45 minutes tobget a table and once seated, another 40 minutes to get our drinks. The place is good but definitely plan about three hours for brunch. Waitress was very nice and apologetic, and could use more help. Needs some improvement but nothing that cant get fixed with a few more employees.

Just what you’re looking for in a casual breakfast spot! Friendly service, delicious food, and no crazy line, at least when we were here. The huevos rancheros was fantastic and the orange juice tasted fresh squeezed.

Blueberry pancakes were pretty good and the Mexican scramble wasn’t bad. Service was good for a Saturday morning. Nice looking spot with 2-level seating. I’d come back again.
