Went for the first time today. The food and service was amazing. I’m a little surprised of the low scores on here because our experience was really positive. The food portions are large. Flavors were delicious. The owner and servers were super friendly. Would we return? Heck yeah!

Our first time eating Honduran food with La Casa Catracha!!! All I know is, I love the quesadilla. Believe it or not, I dipped it in their salsa sauce!!! Well, I love it! Viva Viva!❤️

We were not very familiar with Honduran cuisine, so we got dinner for two. It was a great combination of traditional Honduran dishes, and we got to try a little of everything. It was a great mixture of flavors, and we had plenty to take home. The prices are very reasonable and the service very friendly.

Really good fare, the Baleadas were perfect with that smoky flavor of the wheat tortilla – can’t have just one. Really good service in a cozy atmosphere.

I’m so glad I found this place! The food is incredibly authentic and absolutely delicious. We tried the tortillas con quesillo, empanadas, tacos, and the bandeja 5 estrellas, every single dish was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The portions were just right, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get.
The service was excellent too! The lady at the front was super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. They also have a great variety of Honduran snacks to choose from.
Whether you’re familiar with Honduran cuisine or trying it for the first time, I highly recommend this spot. I’ll definitely be coming back!

As a delivery driver, I will never pick up orders from this restaurant again. The treatment of the drivers is terrible. We are people and we deserve respect. I would never eat at a place that treats the delivery drivers so poorly, especially since they’re the ones who bring the food to your home. Terrible service and awful treatment.

This great little restaurant is located just a few miles from downtown Tampa. Convenient to the airport as well.
I was looking for some Spanish food today so I headed out in search of another great place. Lucky me, I found La Casa Catracha!
I started with the appetizer. Tacos De Pollo! They are made with a Honduran flair and tasted incredible. I finished things off with their Cuban sandwich. I am glad I did. It was incredible from the first bite. Hot, pressed, but not dry or flaky! Perfect!
For a relatively small place, the service was excellent. If and when they move to a bigger location I am certain that they will be blessed with a successful business. For now, their little restaurant is perfect for me.

Delicious authentic Honduran food! Family owned. Beautiful new location! It’s very clean, fresh and spacious. Lots of natural light, nice bathrooms, plenty of tables and chairs for big families.

Two stars and I’ll tell you why. It starts when you walk in the restaurant smells like ammonia I mean the smell was so strong I had such a headache when I left. That scares me as they don’t know what chemicals to use to clean with as that is not approved for food prep. The beef was like rubber in my dish I could barely chew it. The rice was good has a lot of flavor. The bathrooms look disgusting (photo) I didn’t go in them to even see what inside looked like. The patio is falling apart with laminate flooring outside? I’m scared to see what kitchen looks like…

Our first time here and definitely we are going to come back! Everything were excellent! We ordered the most popular plates to share: Honduras Plater or sampler, Sopa Marinera and Fried Snapper (Pargo rojo frito). Our waitress Giselle was amazing, kind and bring all our food on time. 100% recommended! Delicious and flavorful!
