I won’t give it lower than 4 out of respect as I’ve not tried it yet. I’ve tried coming here for at least 3 years. It’s always closed hahaha. I don’t get it. I’m in front of it right now. Closed. It’s 11:28 on a Sunday. I’ve tried during the week, Saturdays, etc.

Went today for 2 got the steak sandwiches and a side let me tell you food was outstanding. The customer service was outstanding she hooked it up definitely didn’t try and rashin on the food.
And those complaining about the hours of operation you have a phone google or call to see if there are open thats what I did correct me if wrong but many restaurant in PR are closed Mondays and Tuesdays, or even Wednesdays.

Called today, horrible attitude when she picked up. I was recommended to her from fb by my aunt, bc I’m from Chicago and I’m used to Chicago Puerto Rican food. I was asked what I want, I then say I want a carne frita plate. The woman on the phone goes onto say that she’s only doing orders for catering. As a Puerto Rican, I’m disappointed at the only spot around here having bad service. Will not ever be supporting this business.

Atmosphere not really applicable as this is designed for carryout or delivery not dine in. Jibarito sandwich was simply amazing and the yummy dip was unforgettable for the heavenly and flaky appetizer.

So, first, I tried am egg roll (pictured). It was the nest egg roll I’ve ever tasted. Every bite had the most perfect amount of crunch with a bit if softness and so much flavor. 24 hiurs later i am mad I didn’t get more.
You’ll have to ask what this is pictured b/c I forgot the menu but we ordered 4 carne asada (I think) empanadas (forgot what they’re called), 2 $5 plates con arroz/rice – 1 plate was chicken (my daughter wished she had another piece) with an abundance of white rice and beans. It was a leg so you may have to request white meat if that’s your preference. I had the steak with “colored rice” and beans. I don’t typically eat beans but that was delish and I was kinda sad I only had a little bit of steak because the flavor was amazing!!! They both came with a slice of toast. We also had….a chicken plantain sandwich with the garlic mayo to share (wanting to taste many options)…was not expecting to like it…it’s a banana sandwich but it was sooo good. I have no clue what we will get next time but you better go!!!!
Also, they’re super nice there so don’t worry, the menu explains what everything is and they will answer any questions you have.
They’re open Thursday, Friday & Saturday 12p-6p and Sunday 12p-5p; however, it’s first come first serve until they run out and that’s typically around 4pm so don’t take the chance and wait too long because you’ll miss out on one of the BEST restaurants in the area. Go check them out!

Okay, so…I was so pleased with this meal I can’t even find the correct words in my vocabulary to describe how delicious this is! To be honest, I don’t even know what this is but I am saving the photo so I can just say “just give me this right here please!” The flavor/seasoning was perfect! The rice was seasoned just right, not bland, over seasoned, too salty, too hard or soggy. The texture and moisture of my other 2 favorite yummy dishes was just wonderful. La Casa Boricua is my #1 favorite restaurant in the area <3.

As soon as you walk in, you can smell the delicious food. Took like 15 mins for the food but the lady/owner “im assuming” gave me an empanada while I waited. Got my food and tastes delicious. You have a new regular now.

My son and fiancé haven’t really tried Puerto Rican food like I have. So I placed an order in advance for a bunch of different things for us to all eat today for dinner. All day I was excited to get out of work and go pick up my food and let me tell you it was amazing! Jennifer’s food is always fantastic, I can honestly say I have not had 1 bad thing from her place! The flavor and authenticity is a 10/10 for this place and her pricing is good especially for the amount of food you get.

This is TRUE PUERTORICAN FOOD!! You must try this for a true experience. Not a dine-in place. More like grab-n-go. We ordered two dozens of assorted snacks to fry at home. Mmmm delicious!
