One of my favorite places to eat in Middletown!! Love the California burrito, loaded nachos, and more. Chips and salsa come with your meal and their homemade salsas are incredible! I only wish their restaurant was open for longer hours because I would definitely eat there more often, but I understand that that is when they’re in various locations with their food truck.

I drove to this place just on a whim and the first 3 things I wanted to try they were out of. What I had was good just not what I wanted. At the end of the day it shares space with a gas station. I had no clue when I left my house what I was in for. If I was closer I’m sure i would try again.

We discovered La Carreta at their food truck when it was on 40. My husband found they had California burritos , which are hard to come by in Maryland. We lived in California a few years and loved them. Went today to the BP to get some burritos . Never disappoints. Always so good! Definitely try it out!

Look, the place is at a gas station. But you’re going to get over that, because you’re about to enjoy some of the best damn Mexican food ever. I drive by it almost every week and didn’t even realize it was there. It’s one of my new favorite places now. The tortilla chips taste and look like they’re fresh made, the food is excellent flavor, delicious, and overall amazing. Just go, really.

Ignore that you’re in a BP lol the food here is delicious. I usually get the burrito bowl out of convenience. Reasonable prices and fast turnaround if you’re trying eat on your lunch break. They have a couple of small tables you can sit at if you want to, but I’ve always gotten this as takeout.

Wow! It’s amazing how long you can live in a place and still discover gems like this. I visited La Carreta Tacos y Tortas for the first time last week and was impressed with the quality, taste and authenticity of their food. The atmosphere is, eh ..but it’s a gas station so that’s ok. That’s what’s expected. I went for the food, not the atmosphere. Don’t let the fact that it’s located in a gas station put you off trying it. Their surf and turf burrito was delicious. I am definitely making this place a regular stop from now on.
