We were a party of six on a Tuesday night. The waitstaff was pleasant and quick to bring our chips, salsa, water and other beverages. Meals were piping hot, and I heard no complaints from our table. I had the Pork Quesadilla entree and regular Margarita without salt, which were both very good, and I noted that all meal portion sizes were large. We stayed at the table after we ate and were not rushed out, which we appreciated. Right off Hwy. 41 in Schererville, IN – easy to find. Thanks for the tasty drinks and great food!

Great drinks. They will make your favorite. The food is good and the atmosphere is a great family friendly environment. They offer vegetarian meals and wheelchair accessibility and plenty of parking (free).

You’re lucky my daughter took me out to eat cuz she was taught to tip I would have not tipped had i paid. The Worst Birra Taco ever. Immediately upon eating it I had to run to the bathroom for 10 minutes. The portions were not great either. The music was so loud I couldn’t even speak to my daughter. Service was not great. It’s a shame I thought it was an okay Mexican restaurant.. now it is on my avoid list… No thank you

I’m used to going to the lacreta in Merrillville, but we were in a different part of area and I decided to come to this one I haven’t been to this one in a while I just feel like the portions have gotten smaller and the food has gotten less and less attractive. The service was half ass to be honest with you, we sat down and waited for over 5 minutes for somebody to at least come over to the table and get our drinks and it wasn’t even a busy area. I used to love their food but it’s definitely gone downhill

The restaurant took forever to bring us our food only to mess up our order and give us the wrong skillet and the food was cold . My girlfriend had to wait 30 minutes for her tacos after ordering it after a long drive and just wanting something to eat quickly it would’ve been faster and better if I went home and cooked the food myself. If you find yourself starving it’s not worth it do not recommend and will not be returning.

This restaurant has a proper bar. There’s a Mexican term for beer that goes bad (bitter) called “quemada”. This is the first Mexican restaurant that has proper beer, nice and cold. The food was a solid 8/10. The fish i ordered was amazing if only the fish was properly seasoned. The only thing that gave it flavor was the garlic and red sauce. Upon flipping the fish the others side lacked the attention to detail the top had. Thank god for the salt shaker provided in all the tables. Over all the rice was outstanding, the sides where fresh to perfection. Most importantly the service is outstanding. Please tip well.

So I didnt really care for the tast of the beef. The pork was awesome, I should’ve got that or the steak. I feel like the food was missing some seasoning. The guacamole was bland but when mixed with the salsa it was bad. My taste buds are different but over all. It was ok.
