If you’re a fan of Red Chilé, you’ll enjoy your visit. As far as the green chilé, Ive never seen it prepared this way and I wasnt a fan.

On this visit our waitress brought chips and salsa. The salsa was very watery won’t even stay on the chip. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and my spouse got the tostadas. The enchiladas were very mushy and the chicken had no flavor. The beans were also very watery for being refried beans, the rice was ok. The green chili has no taste. My wife’s order also had watery refried beans. Her tostadas were drenched in grease. The cook didn’t even bother to drain the oil from the ground beef. We will not be going back to this restaurant

I ordered a combination plate & it was covered in a layer of grease, I’m assuming from the green chili. I tried my best to brush it off & still enjoy my meal because I paid $18 +tip for it, I ended up moving everything to a different plate because the grease was just so overwhelming. As if that wasn’t bad enough, I found a hair halfway through eating my enchiladas. I usually only come here for the birria tacos, but this experience kinda makes me want to never come back.

I live on a rural reservation and had a taste for a tortas and found this to be the only place nearby; in Gallup, NM that had them on their menu, so Ihave them a try. I ordered the barbcoa torta and the same for the taco. I’ve had tortas that were overflowing with meat and toppings, and although this one wasn’t, it was still delicious and it came with a side of fries. I also ordered a bowl is pozole to go, and it was absolutely delicious! I’ll definitely be back.

Took the family on a road trip and we try to eat at local restaurants to show appreciation….we revised most of the restaurants and they all compete with high ratings ..so we just decided to try this place and it didn’t disappoint, good food, good service good breakfast… ..the restaurant could use better lighting give it a more alive vibe but very good visit

I’ve enjoyed the Mexican food at “LA Carreta” numerous times this spring. The salsa has a unique and delicious flavor. The fajitas are my favorite.

Always great food here, if you want re new Mexican food, this is the place to go! Green Chile is good as well as the red! And if you just can’t decide on which one to get, get both! That’s always super good. The barbacoa tacos are some of the best around! And the carne asada fries with red and green Chile are perfect

The freshest beef enchiladas in town. You can taste how fresh the meat was cooked.
