Do yourself a favor and go to the Amite or Hammond location instead. Service was not good here but has been in Amite and Hammond. Restaurant was not busy as we came between lunch and dinner. Took a long time to be helped at the table. Once we placed our order it took a long time for it to come out to the table. When the food came out one of the meals wasn’t what we ordered. After we tried to get it corrected about 10 minutes later the team member who was helping us came back out and said the order was just put back to be fixed, but by that time we were just about done with our meal. Will not return.

I went to this restaurant with my family this evening. I am a vegan and in a small town it can be quite a challenge finding good food. I ordered the Veggie Fajitas with no cheese and no sour cream. The food was very good and we were served by a lady named Briana who was extremely pleasant and attentive. She gave us impeccable service like she was a manager/supervisor, which I first thought, despite telling us she was new.

They consistently have excellent service, with appropriate temperatures for the foods, clean dishes and silverware, clean bathrooms, and quick seating. The food tastes great, and they are cautious about allergy issues. Will go again. Good prices.
Second visit: still cautious about allergy issues but every place has mistakes every now and then – the best way to gauge a restaurant is how they deal with mistakes. The server was surprised the kitchen had missed the allergy mention, immediately offered to have the plate redone and whisked it away upon my agreement. The kitchen staff worked swiftly and the server brought out a new plate of food as soon as it was ready. Very professional, apologetic without being overly so, and checked in several times to verify that the food was good and no further problems. Will definitely go again.

We got Taco Salad and 3 Tacos and it was all so yummy. It was well seasoned and tasted fresh and the ground meat tasted good, I could tell it’s a good quality meat. The chips and salsa was really good too. So yummy. The place was clean in and outside. Friendly staff.

I love this place and it very unique with outside seating, inside seating, large bar area with TVs to watch the game. Plus they have large party room separate from the rest. I was told they have live music but it wasn’t there when I visited.
This place has lots of personality the local are friendly and cool to hangout with.
So if you are stuck on I12 and need a place to chill during traffic back up or want to visit a new place I would highly recommend this place.
The restaurant manager makes sure my food has no cross contamination but limited on options.

We went here for my daughter’s 18th birthday party. The manager and all of the staff honored our reservation and were even able to accommodate tables and chairs for extra guests who came. All of our orders were cooked properly. Not all of our food came out at the same time though. A few of our guests’ food was not hot when they received it. My birthday girl was the last to get her food. She literally sat there, watching everyone else eat, while her food took too long. Honestly, her meal should have been taken off of our ticket, but, no one offered to do that for us.

They served me food without fully cooking the meat. I didn’t notice until the meat started falling out the burrito. I asked the owner if she thought that it looked cooked mind you I wasn’t complaining I was just concerned. She replied with yes it is cooked and was very rude. I took a picture this is clearly not fully cooked.

More pros than cons:
The food is always great; plenty of flavor and never dry.
Margaritas (traditional and strawberry) are always delicious; strong enough to give you a happy little buzz, but not so strong that the tequila is overwhelming.
We’ve never had a bad server, and we love the bright colors everywhere, that make the building feel vibrant and open. However, the music from the stereo is usually really loud, to the point we have to almost yell across the table. Not in a way that makes me not want to go, but in a way that keeps it from being our first or second choice for dinner out.

I really had a nice time on Wednesday, February 2. Our waiter was so nice. Very sweet. I just wished I had remembered his name. The appetizers were good. We made that as our meal. I now have a new favorite drink… the coconut margarita. I wanted to try something new and was glad I did. This is a great place to go to have drinks and enjoy good food.
