I was recommended to check out La Capital Tacos, and I’m glad I did—it did not disappoint! It is tucked inside a small food court, which is perfect if you’re looking to grab a quick bite.

While the traditional tacos were tasty, they were on the smaller side and didn’t quite fill me up, but the Birria Tacos more than made up for it with their amazing flavor and generous portion. I highly recommend trying those!
Another bonus: this location is the only La Capital Tacos branch (that I know of) where you can get an alcoholic margarita. So it’s great spot to kick off the weekend – the open seating makes it an ideal hangout to meet up with friends, relax, and make plans before heading to your next destination. I’ll definitely be back for those Birria Tacos and margarita!

My love for tacos brought me here. I ordered the carne Asada tacos this time. They were freshly made small corn tortillas overloaded with well seasoned steak onions and cilantro . Tasty for sure. My only wish . . .they use dbl tortillas to hold all that meat and put some Bark on it. It’s a bit grey and chewy. Over all they were tasty. I give them 3.5 /5

I wanted to go to Capital Taco for quite some time because somebody recommended them to my wife and myself. The food was great. The taste was authentic Mexican tacos. The service was pretty fast. My wife loved her birrias tacos. She said it was delicious. She told me it is one of her favorite spots now for tacos in the capital region. I couldn’t agree more with her. My bowl was very tasty. I got the Campeche bowl. The portions are good and better than many other places. The place was clean. Overall we had a great experience. If you want to have some great tacos this is the place for you.

The chicken was very dry, lacking flavor, and the tortilla shells were dry and cracking. There was 2 groups in the restaurant the whole time we were there and despite taking our order first, the other group received their food 10 ninutes before us. The workers were snacking while we waited for our food before they realized they still hadnt made our ticket. You could also tell some of the toppings were old and dried out and changing color. Ive been coming here the last 6 years and the quality has dropped drastically, this last time justifies us not coming back again.

Absolutely fantastic. I’ve tried them all but the birria is my favorite. The brisket is tender and you can sink your teeth into the huge pieces they give out in each taco, and it’s not at all stringy, the dipping sauce is so good I feel bad throwing the leftovers out, perfectly crunchy outside and creamy sweet with the cheese. This is adult Doritos loco tacos done right. Definitely eat it over the plate. Dripping with goodness

I didn’t get a chance to try their tacos because they staff, or at least the woman working the cashier was horrible. Rude short and not responsive to my very simple questions about the menu. Decided I’d rather walk away and give the business.

The male employee that is working on 12/31/25 was very rude and had a nasty attitude. He also was not trained in customer service and how to answer questions. Our order was made incorrectly and when we went back to correct it he seemed unhappy. After spending over $100 you would think his attitude would be better. I will never recommend this place to anyone if he is working.

Delicious tacos! We tried bierra tacos, carnitas, Carne asada, El pastor, and the fish tacos. Everything was so good, and tasted really fresh. Will definitely be returning!

Anyone who doesn’t give a five for this spot doesn’t know Mexican. Birria tacos are the best option. Burrito is full of meat. If you like spicy just ask.
