This place is a hidden gem. The food is fresh and delicious, and the music creates a nice vibe. Unfortunately, it could really benefit from better marketing and stronger customer service. It feels like there’s a lot of untapped potential, but not enough motivation to elevate the overall experience for customers.
Additionally, the heating situation needs attention—small portable heaters throughout the space look unappealing and take away from the ambiance.
They previously had another location that was amazing, so it’s disappointing to see this one not living up to that same standard. Hopefully the owner and staff can identify what’s holding them back and bring this place to the level it deserves, because it truly has the potential to be one of the top spots on Long Island.
We truly hope this feedback is taken as constructive criticism. We love this place and only want to see it improve and reach the level we know it’s capable of.

I never complain or leave bad reviews because that’s not who I am and I worked at a restaurant for a few years so I understand how overwhelming and hectic busy nights can get but this place genuinely has to be the worst place I’ve ever been to service wise. I went with my friend for Valentine’s because my cousins had told me how good this spot was. The host and our waiter were nice I’m not going to lie and say they were rude but they were not attentive at all. First red flag was the QR code menus and when we got to our table they didn’t even ask for our drink orders it took 10 minutes for them to come over to us after being seated and we were the only people there besides 2 other people. Anyways I expected the pineapple frozen margarita to taste fruity but all I tasted was alcohol it was so strong. The food was good we ordered chicken quesadillas it was just pretty salty but no one never came to clear our table when we were done with our entrees I had to flag the waiter down to even take our plates after a while of waiting. We ordered churros and it literally took 30 minutes to come out and when I asked the waiter after 20 minutes when the dessert was coming and he said in a bit and that the kitchen was busy. Previously working in a restaurant I know desserts take the least amount of work to prep and bring out and if something takes long its common courtesy to at least let the table know and not ignore us. Our dessert came after 30-35 minutes and when I saw the bill they charged 20% gratuity which is ridiculous because it was just the 2 of us and the waiter never came over to us for anything unless we said excuse me. But I guess that’s why they don’t prioritize their service because they’re getting 20% gratuity anyway. It’s just overpriced overall. Do not recommened.

My husband and I love this place! We always sit at the bar and the staff is attentive and nice. The food is amazing and we always each get a margarita flight, the prices are a little on the higher end but I believe the quality of drinks and food is worth it. They have taco Tuesday deals and I highly recommend the empanadas as well, those are our go to! My mouth is watering just writing this review ahah, highly recommend this place! And the music is always fun and upbeat! We usually go when it isn’t busy, random Tuesday nights.

It’s a beautiful establishment with wonderful people. Expertly cooked food. Extremely friendly and they were very good with the children as well. Music was at a louder level, appropriate for the atmosphere. It looked very well set up for watching sporting events as well.

Oh wow – what a beautiful hidden gem of a place! We went from an unplanned search for tacos. Parking lot was full. Outside decor is urban, funky, graffiti. Interesting. Then we walked in.
We were unprepared for the decor – amazing club atmosphere, cool lighting, breathtaking wall art. I personally loved the dystopian Frida Kahlo.
Food was incredible. We went for the Mucho Macho Nachos (decadently loaded nachos) and chicken wings. Drinks were ok – little on the lighter side. For the main course we went with tacos – the fish and volcano shrimp left a lasting impression and a craving to be back.
The taco main portions (3 tacos) were large enough that we were unable to finish.
Definitely looking forward to returning here.

Jeff has always done a good job at providing us with top tier service. He makes my cantinita experience better than the last. I always look forward to having him as my waiter. The food always comes out correct and on time. He does a good job at checking in without being overbearing. I always order the birria nachos and whatever drink special they have that day and always enjoy my meal. I constantly bring people here to have a good time and enjoy an excellent meal.

My family and I decided to come to this little funky place to eat for my daughter’s birthday. What a great choice! We went on a Wednesday after 8pm. The restaurant was empty. Which was fine with me. We were a party of five. The food was AMAZING! The service was great! Shout out to Johanna and Carlos! Being that we were the only ones there, my daughter asked if they could change the music, and they did, with NO PROBLEM! THE Drinks on the airplane!!!!!! Ohhhhh my by far are the best! I believe that the prices were great, not overpriced.
Just UNDERSTAND THAT IF YOU DINE AFTER 8PM YOU WILL BE CHARGED A %20 AUTOMATIC SERVICE FEE. ( I think it’s worth it)

Was visiting my hometown and noticed this brand new spot and had to stop in and try. I did not expect for it to look the way it did, in a good way! I loved the ambience of this place. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Food and drinks were great as well. I tend to spend a lot of time in the city so the appearance reminded me of an upscale restaurant, yet laid back.
I see potential for this place and will help spread the word. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in town.

This hidden gem is technically a bar but let me tell you do not underestimate the food! It was absolutely phenomenal! We had the Birria tacos, Carne asada and the taquitos as an app. We tried the margaritas flight it was not only pretty! It was strong but delicious. The only thing they could improve on is more variety on drinks non alcoholic and alcoholic. Also add a few more food options. Other than that wait staff was super friendly and helpful and the Ambiance was right on point. Overall a great experience!
