Hello and welcome to La Cantina Mascot . Based in Mascot, we are open midweek from 7am-5pm serving breakfast, lunch and latin food as well as the usual coffee and tasty treats. Our aim is simple; to bring our guests the best coffee and food we possibly can, and provide a space in which anyone might find a home. We had brekkie here during our stay at the Travelodge. We picked it mainly because it’s right downstairs, and it was a scorcher that morning — no way we felt like walking into town.
So glad we ate here instead. The food was really good and the portions were generous. We ordered the hot salami, Croissant, egg roll and a coffee — the coffee was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious.
Would definitely come back next time we’re staying nearby.

Positioned on the corner of a local hotel is this unassuming gem of Latin food lovers! Highlight for us were the beef Empanadas which are simply delicioso! Super friendly staff and good value for money. This is the place to come back to and next time, it will be for lunch!

It’s part of the Travelodge building so easy to find.
I ordered a Flat White and scrambled egg/avocado/spicy relish wrap. The coffee was good – the wrap a bit bland really.
I also tried the Banana Smoothie – it was a bit too liquid for a smoothie. Taste was OK.
Service was efficient.

Picked up food here with my coworkers and found the food quality to be top notch for pasta and sandwiches. Staff was friendly and bubbly! 🙂

Came here during my work lunch break with a colleague. I ordered the La Cantina Breakfast and he ordered a burger. I really enjoyed my meal – it was one of the best Big Breakfast I’ve had in recent years. My only critique was that even though we were seated upstairs which is indoors, there were a few insects flying around and we had to keep swiping them away from our food which seriously dampened our experience. I hope something can be done to keep the bugs away or at least to a bare minimum. Will be back so hope to provide better feedback then.

Popular with the taxi and shuttle drives along with the office workers. It’s under the Travelodge but not part of the Travelodge.
Has seating outside, inside and upstairs which offers up a bit more quieter feel. Coffee was perfect, strong and hot. My almond croissant for $5 was quite possibly the largest croissant I ever had. The egg and bacon roll was tasty too.
