Simple spot located adjacent to the Vail Village Transportation Center serving authentic and delicious Mexican food. Incredibly affordable by Vail standards. Waiter and order taker Thomas (I hope I heard his name right) was so kind when he took a call from a customer looking for a bag she left behind. He walked around the restaurant several times checking everywhere and eventually found the bag and told her he would hold it for her behind the counter. Nice guy! would definitely go back to have more yummy food at this place!

Best tacos in Vail. True authentic Mexican food. And one of the rare places in Vale with reasonable prices. Highly recommend!!

The food is yummy, and it’s a convenient location. It’s in the transportation center. I thought it was going to be a patio dining restaurant, but it’s all indoors. Good food. Plenty of seating.

At this restaurant you order at the counter and pay then the food is delivered to your table. The counter service was worse than I’ve ever seen in my life. The blonde woman could not answer any of our questions about the food. There were eight of us in our group and we all ordered one by one. She was not friendly at all. She didn’t ask us if we wanted any drinks. The bill totaled about $115. I used a credit card and entered a tip. We were not far away from the counter, so could hear everything she said to other customers. She bad mouthed our group quite a number of customers, citing the very low tip that we gave her. I’ve never seen such a rude waitress. When she brought the food to our table she didn’t clearly identify what each dish was. She just set it down on the table. We had to try to figure it out and in a few cases we’re not able to. One of us went to ask her about it and got nowhere. We had to cut open a couple of burritos to see what they were. The service she rendered was totally unacceptable. It ruined the meal for many of us especially hearing her talking about us to everybody. In a place like this how much do you tip for good service? It’s not a sit-down restaurant where staff waits on you. It’s a counter where you order your food. If you took your meal to go, would you leave a tip? I feel sorry for this woman since I believe she’s a very unhappy person.

We grabbed some chips and guac, and rice and beans to go for a quick snack. Extremely reasonable for Vail and very very tasty. Would highly recommend if you are looking for Mexican food in the area that doesn’t break the bank while in Vail.

Conveniently tucked into the Vail Transportation Center, this hidden gem has fast service, excellent food, and very reasonable prices! Refreshingly filled with the younger set with nary a designer jacket in sight. Try the combo plates…amazing deal for Vail! There is even a small bar! Highly recommended!

Today the person who was attending (guy in red hat) didn’t want to switch the TV for the World Cup, he prefer to have ESPN advertising that nobody was looking. It’s unbelievable they act like that, you ask nice and get a no for answer even when it is not the first time that we come here to eat and watch the game, but maybe my last time at least if he is on shift.

Blonde girl at the bar/ordering counter had so much attitude when my family had questions about the menu. She took our order to the best of her ability with no knowledge of the menu. My 78 year old grandmother paid for all of us (party of 8) it was about $102 and once my grandma walked away, she complained to another member of our party about how the tip was only 4%. She continued to tell this to every customer who followed us while ordering. Terrible service. We thought wow cheap place in Vail.. not worth it lol

Amazing prices, huge portions, fast/friendly service! All at a ski village like Vail at that. The complementary chips/dip is incredible. I couldn’t believe how much beef was in the Macho Burrito for only $11. I wouldn’t be mad if they charged more, but in the meantime, I’m not complaining 🙂

Love this place: simple, delicious, and great value for your buck. After a whole evening of bumping around in the village and needing to wait for 1-2 hours before we could be served, we ended up here and have no regrets. One should, however, pick up after one’s self: just put the plates and silverware away into the dirty dishes corner. Definitely worth it
