I’m not exaggerating when I tell you we found our favorite Mexican restaurant in Texas. Prices are fair, cleanliness is excellent, service is great. They have a playground for the kiddos. The most important part is their food was amazing!!!! I’m Mexican and I have trouble finding good quality Mexican food! This is the place I tell! La comida está exquisita!

Tried dinner here for the first time with my boyfriend and his father. The service was great, the food was good, and overall it was a nice experience. My only gripe is that the prices are a bit too high for the food. There’s another place we go to where we can get the same dishes for way less. Also, I will say that the Chinese-style rice was confusing lol. Anyways, I do recommend it if you’re craving some Mexican food!

We have not been here since it changed ownership. We were last here when it was still La Finca. The difference is night and day. The freshness and quality of food really shines! The red and green salsas are the best we have had! It’s for sure the top Tex mex in the area. The flavors, seasonings and perfectly cooked dishes and fajita meats are spot on. We were very pleased! If you came here when it was still la finca, you will recognize several friendly servers. The service is great, the food is awesome!!! If you haven’t tried La Cantina yet, you are missing out!

Everything was very good. We got there late just before closing and they were accommodating. We got the 2 for 1 margaritas or whatever deal wad on Thursday and they were awesome. We (2) got a platter to share and it good. I’ll definitely go back when I’m in Houston again.

First time trying out this restaurant and it was not too bad. Chips were fresh and good as well as the salsas. House margarita was perfect! We liked our enchiladas which were served with rice, refried beans and like a mix of sliced lettuce with tomatoes and onions? The bar looked a little messy but I understand there’s new management so maybe they’re still arranging. Overall, we had a good experience and would likely return.

We hosted a luncheon for 30 people at noon on a Saturday in one of there two private rooms. The room was set up nicely. We used a TV on the wall for a power point. Our server brought drinks from the bar along with included sodas, tea and water constantly. If we needed more pico, rice, or chips and salsa, he was there. We never had to search for our server. The manager was very pleasant and easy to work with any question, details and reservations. He too checked on us often. All of our guests were very happy with the event.

Pretty darn good chips , the horchata is on point and flavorful ❤️❤️ deliciously awesome chile relleno , got the ground beef one.
Salsas are really yummy, if you have the stomach for it ask for the spicier ones . They are really fresh and tasty, but if you are not used to the spice you will cry.

Wow!!! Sunday brunch was out of this world!!! Pily is the sweetest person and knows how to take care of customers. The amount of food on the buffet was insane. Everything was delicious!!! I cannot even explain how good this food, service, and atmosphere was. 29.00 per person but that includes everything! All drinks included too. Homemade hot chocolate, mimosa’s, tea, water.

We came to La Cantina for Sunday Brunch and it was phenomenal! The buffet was fresh and delicious- made to order omelets, carnitas, menudo, fajitas, enchiladas. The blackberry margaritas hit the spot as well! The owner, George, is a gracious host & the service was impeccable! To top it off- the mariachi band set the atmosphere. This will definitely be our new Sunday spot!
