The Food was 0/0. Tortillas burned and the shells cold . No guacamole, beans or rice on a taco salad ? I been in enough Mexican restaurants to now the ingredient.
The chicken was boiled cold chicken with a bunch of pepper no sauce . So unflavored . I could not eat it . Just stay away from this place if you going to eat. If you going to get drinks that might be a good place . But the vibe is kinda off .

The Short – This Place is Amazing! YES! The food is delicious, nice portion sizes, and the prices are even better (check out the menu pictures I posted)
After looking on Google for a place to eat, La Cantina popped up. I was a little apprehensive at first because it didn’t have a website but after reading the good reviews we decided to give it a try.
Now, once you get there, from the outside it doesn’t look like anything special. Some have commented it is similar to a Dive Bar and I would agree. But honestly, put all that aside and try the food and you will be impressed.
We got the following for dinner, and I rated with 5 being the best..
1) Free Chips and Salsa. Salsa was made fresh 5/5
2) $7.99 Fried Shrimp Appetizer that came with Fries. Fresh shrimp. 5/5
3) $8.99 Chicken and Cheese Quesadilla 5/5
4) $10.99 Taco Salad with Beef in Nacho Shell. Beef was a little on the spicy side so be prepared. Ask for sour cream. 4/5
5) $10.99 Chimichanga with Beef. Rice and beans on side. 5/5
6) $5.99 Churro dessert with ice cream – 5/5
7) $5.99 Sopapilla dessert- fried tortilla chips with cinnamon and ice cream and honey 5/5
8) $6.00 Half Pitcher of Beer
The waitress was also really nice. She made the experience wonderful.

So many things to say, but I will be back. Doesn’t seem like a Mexican Restaurant, but my meal was great! Dont sell liquor, but the bartender made the evening. Not commercial or modern, but the locals made it fun. Thank you!

First of all this is nothing personal. However.. My fiance is Mexican american and he knows authentic Mexican food.. This spot is NOT IT. Now as a local favorite that’s totally okay. But I will not recommend this place to anyone. Three of us went. My fiance, his buddy and myself. We got a burger with fries, enchiladas with beans and rice, and chicken tenders with fries. All the food was bland, no flavor. The beans and rice were hard and dry. The chicken tenders were overcooked and stringy. The waitress was nice until I told her I didnt like my meal. She insisted they were freshly cut and that was why they dont all turn out good. I said it was fine but I’d like it off the bill. My fiance and his friend ate their food to be polite and try and not make a big deal. She agreed to take my meal off the bill and she would be back. We waited as she cleared 2 more tables that came in after us before she handed us the bill. Mind you it wasn’t itemized and by the price it seems like she didnt take my meal off the bill. However we were just ready to leave at this point because we wanted to watch the rocket launch so we left after paying. We did go somewhere else later on in the night since we were still hungry. Totally understandable if your busy and forgot some things, it happens. However everything combined made it not worth our while. This experience may not be what everyone gets but I wanted to put mine out there.

Get the poppers. Life altering. Total dive/nascar bar. Wisconsin owned. If you like the packers and good Mexican food go here. Only bummer is it is beer and wine only, no liquor. Holler at Kelly, she is a sweetheart and gives great service.

This place is a hidden gem. It’s definitely OLD, but the wings were phenomenal. Id suggest hot or medium if you’re a classic wing person. The beer was refreshing and priced correctly. This place seems to not have been hit with inflation because everything was affordable. If you’re looking for old Melbourne vibe this place has the heart of old Melbourne. The owner is a packers, fan so it’s a plus. Come here for beer and wings and the game.

Cozy local bar with pretty good food and excellent service. The prices here are very reasonable. The beer is ice cold too. Frosty mugs on a hot day really hit the spot. The hamburgers are the star of the show but other menu items like the quesadillas, wings, and enchiladas are plenty good.
