My parents took me here for a special occasion and it turned out to be exemplary! I loved their calamari, homemade chips, and especially their garlic sauce steak! They give you a lot for the price and the staff loves our family. If you do decide to go, make sure you go away from peak hours because the place fills up fast!

We will definitely return to La Candela Gallega. The food and service were excellent. For appetizers, we ordered the calamari, the quesadilla with chicken and the croquetas de bacalao. For entrees, we ordered the paella Valenciana, the filet of sole francese and the enchiladas. For dessert, we shared the fried cheesecake chimichanga. It is BYOB.

update 9/30/23. went back today with our daughter and son-in-law. Had an absolutely delicious meal, again with plenty to eat. BYOB. The fantastic meal, with more than enough to eat for the four of us… Was only $100. Can’t beat that value for a delicious meal anywhere!

Cute place, nice atmosphere and big menu with lots of options. Everything was pretty mediocre though. Fajitas were probably the best, more saucy than what we are used to but great flavor. Everything was actually very drowned in sauce, enchiladas very soggy. Skirt steak extremely fatty. Wait staff was very attentive and friendly. Glad we tried, though we won’t likely return.

Never did i have chilaquiles like these here, is more like sopa. No eggs! Flavor is ok but presentation is missing and way to wet. Is definitely a chilaquiles sopa! Maybe next time.

I dont take pleasure in leaving a bad review. But this had to be the most bland Mexican food I’ve ever had. The service was great so nothing against the folk running the local. Its most likely a case of this place suffering from the location.

A few of the dishes we had were very good. A few were good, but just nothing exceptional or special but overall the food was great. The service was outstanding. We had several gentlemen waiters and they were all very personable. They were joking around with my mom and daughter, having fun, very kind, very nice. The service would bring me back before the food did.
