Amazing! From the chips, homemade tortillas, and starter soup to all the entrées. Very authentic and every meal with great presentation. Camarones a la diabla could’ve had a few more shrimp for the price but good flavor nonetheless. Place was lively and there was a 15min wait on Sunday afternoon, but got quick, courteous service and the food was brought out in a timely manner. Unique drink options as well.

Father daughter lunch for Father’s day. Family feel, so much history you can feel it’s engery emitting from the structure. The food was hot, delicious, and plentiful. The staff were overly attentive and courteous. Love the non-chain restaurants.

The food was delicious, staff very attentive and friendly. Portions were very generous. Atmosphere is homey. So many options to choose from! You get two types of salsa – red and green. Both have a nice kick. This is an Oak Cliff icon. We shared the massive Fondue Cancun and also the Chicken Flautas. The Flautas are a foot long! Had leftovers to bring home too.

Was told manager didn’t want to turn AC on . He also didn’t want to give his name out. 97 degrees outside feeling like 105. Was over 85 degrees inside restaurant. Multiple tables fanning themselves trying to cool down . Manager did not care, made a smart comment saying they will bring fans out next time we come. There won’t be a next time.

This was my first time dining here! I came to celebrate my friend’s 50th birthday party and I was quite pleased. The wait staff did an awesome job of attending to everyone. The food came out quickly, and salsa, chips, and drinks were replenished often or as needed. We ordered the seafood fundido for him and guacamole for me. The guacamole was pretty good! He enjoyed the fundido, which I could not eat due to seafood allergies, but it looked chunky to me. He had the mushroom and spinach enchiladas and thought they tasted great for a meatless option. I had the brisket tacos, which were tender and flavorful. I had a margarita, which was a bit watery, but my husband had 3 and loved them. We will definitely come back one day.

I’ve been going to this specific location for years and have ordered the Pescado A La Parilla the past 3x I’ve went, and this fish has always been good. This last time my meal seemed a bit rushed and my fish wasnt as seasoned as it normally is but it still wasnt bad. The thing that seems to be consistent with this meal is that when it’s brought to your table the rice and veggies will ALWAYS be cold. It never fails that when my meal is brought to my table I always have to ask for another order of sides due to mine being cold, but once replaced it’s all good. Quite possibly the best thing is the small cup of fish soup that is brought to you before your meal. If you’re lucky you’ll get a bowl with multiple pieces of fish but regardless just squeeze some lemon to it and add a dash of salt and pepper. Mmmm….. delish!
