Great spot for good food and beer. Dan was great to strike up a conversation with while I ate a late lunch at the bar. Smoked Bowl was great with pork. I travel to a lot of breweries and this one will be a repeat on my next visit to the area.

Bbq to the max. Very delicious and worth it. It’s difficult to find a great bbq spot This is the one. The Korean ribs were fantastic. The tomato basil soup delicious, buffalo chicken dip a must-have Service and atmosphere is awesome. Place is beautiful and very clean. Will definitely make this a regular spot for myself and friends.

The entire placed has that authentic BBQ smokehouse smell and decor. I got the BBQ platter and a side of chips. The chips came out with the meal. Maybe I should have asked them maybe to bring them out right away. They also were open to substitutions. The chicken was delicious cooked and sliced chicken thighs. The turkey moist and the brisket tender, fatty and great. They paired each with a BBQ sauce, which made sense to me after tasting. While all the meat was expertly prepared and delicious I didn’t get much smoke taste or flavor. As a diabetic I couldn’t partake of much of the sweet sauces so maybe the lack of flavor was more on me.

Outrageous pricing, small amounts of mediocre-to-awful food, boring beer. The joint was out of ribs, and apparently that’s a thing – they run out of ribs on Sundays. They were also out of turkey by the pound. The nachos were OK. No complaints there.

The dessert was bloody terrible. It was supposed to be a cobbler, and it took forever to arrive. Upon taking a bite, i realized that the reason it took so long for the dessert to come to the table is because they were warming it up in the oven. The dough was cold, hard, chewy, insufficient in quantity, and blah in taste. The only decent thing about that dessert was the whipped cream (probably out of a can).

Service was OK.

Always love their BBQ: I’m a brisket fellow: yum! Wasn’t a huge fan of the beans–I wanted deeper savory notes, but they were tangey, giving them a less-hearty feel to me than I look for in beans.
Their beers are top notch I’m a big Hazy or NEIPA or DIPA or Sour fan–they always have some strong offerings in one or two of those categories.
I’ll definitely be back.

This is one of my favorite places to eat when I’m in the area traveling for work.

Over a few visits, I’ve tried:
– Alabama Slamma
– Brisket Mac & Cheese
– Burnt Ends
– Hot Chicken
– Brisket Chopped Cheese

You can’t go wrong here. Everything is delicious. The one thing I have to get every time are the burnt ends. I could get these alone for my meal, but there are other great things to try.

The only thing I don’t like is that they aren’t open on Mondays since that’s when I’m usually in the area.

A lovely surprise in the burbs. Really good food. BBQ, cornbread, pizza were all delectable. Only thing that was problematic was our server was overwhelmed with too many tables. Maybe they usually have more staff but I felt bad for her having to juggle so many orders. It was tough to get her attention but I understand why. Definitely recommend.

An absolute treat to have this in the area. Got the burnt ends and smoked chicken wings with buffalo, ranch, and the sweet heat sauces. Sweet heat sauce is my favorite, a perfect balance between sweet and spicy. Service was great, atmosphere was awesome. Can’t wait to come back to try out the happy hour.

We got La Cabra catering for a 60 person birthday party at our house and it was the best decision we could’ve made. The food was the star of the show, all our guests kept complimenting the quality of the bbq including some of our friends from the South (rare to get a southerner to compliment bbq up here!) We got the smoked chicken, brisket, burnt ends, pulled pork, mac and cheese, cornbread, cole slaw, and salad, plus a bunch of different sauces. Dan and his team went above and beyond to be accommodating and helpful from the ordering process all the way to delivery and set up. It was easy and well worth the money! 10/10 would recommend for catering!

Blew my expectations away! I thought that either the food or the beer would be good, but one bad. The (house) beer was good and the food was crazy good! The appetizer nachos had a cheese/salsa mix that was unique and delicious. Moist, fall-of-the-bone brisket may have been the best I’ve ever tasted. The service was completely attentive. I’ll be back soon to try the burnt ends and smoked wings.
