The pastor is phenomenal. Not crazy sweet or a billion flavors, just solid as can be. Couldn’t go wrong with anything. Torta was phenomal. Great BREAD, Not a bun. What can I say about the campechanos tacos! Perfection! Their salsa is addicting! Dont wait for an excuse to come up to this place! La Cabanita IS THE EXCUSE!

Let’s be honest, carne asada usual sucks. The carne asada here was tender, actually seasoned, and had texture. Best homemade corn tortillas I’ve had in Reno/Sparks. The chef or chefs execute the dishes really well.

La Cabañita has absolutely amazed my tastebuds and I from the get go. I still remember the first time walking up to the spot and loving the aesthetic of the truck and how professional and modern it looked compared to the rest of the taco trucks in town. The most important part though, is the food, everything that is offered in the menu is so satisfying and delighting. My choice for an order will always be the tacos De Al Pastor with everything, my absolute favorite. They also tend to change it up a bit with some flare in the menu too, providing coffee, nachos, flan and more on special occasions. On top of all of this that was labeled, the speed at which they bring out your food is unmatched and the great respectful and caring service that they provide is insurmountable. They definitely make you feel like family and appreciate your support to their business which is so different compared to other places where they value the dollar more than the customer. I would recommend La Cabañita to anyone when asked for a good place to eat and enjoy in all truth and honesty. I sincerely thank this family for their efforts and care for the community. Go try it out you will not be disappointed!!!

La Cabanita catered our wedding rehearsal dinner. They were willing to travel out of town and did not disappoint. We had about 50 guests attend all you can eat tacos for two hours. The pork was great with the pineapple pieces. The taco truck seemed to be a hit. I would definitely hire for another event.

Not legit tacos. Tacos al pastor-no cocinan la piña Y las tortillas crudas y la salsa picante nada de picante… no nos gusto….dissatisfied. I couldn’t finish eating the tacos. i don’t own a food truck in reno or any restaurant. I’m a consumer like any other person and these tacos were not good. Maybe a bad night but no flavor. No spice. The pineapple was not cooked like normal Al pastor meat incorporates pineapple in the cooking process. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion reviews and taste and we just did not have a good experience.
