Walking up to this place, there was a foul oder coming from the side back of this place… But, we were told this was a good place to go. So we went in anyways. The waitress was so kind, efficient, and on it!!! The salsa we got was 1 mild and 1 hot; the “hot one” literally just had extra pepper in it! To make it more spicy I presume. The horchata I got tasted like it had no cinnamon in it. My husband ordered 3 shredded beef taquitos with rice and beans on the side. As for me, I ordered a green chili burrito enchilada style with rice and beans on the side. The enchilada sauce on top was supposed to be red chili … But it was orange, too much flour and not enough red chilies I presume. Honestly it had no flavor at all. But the green chili inside was good. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for mediocre Mexican food. Friendly family atmosphere.

There’s a hidden gem right in Post Falls and La Cabana is it! Good Mexican food in North Idaho is hard to come by so stumbling upon this restaurant was a great surprise.
From the chicken mole to the street tacos it’s all good stuff. And of you like your salsas hot ask for the hot stuff in red amd green.
Very much looking forward to dining here again!

We went for dinner the other night, and they were able to get us right in. Food was ok but something didn’t settle with all (3 of us) of our stomachs that night..the only thing we all ate was the rice. The rice looked a little different than when I had been there before a couple of years ago but tasted the same. Chips and salsa are always great!

Disgusting food ever! I almost threw up trying to eat it. The only thing good was the Pepsi. This the second Mexican reasturant we tried sense moving to Post Falls Idaho. Both had disgusting food. Me and my husband both got sick eating here. We suspect rotten cheese.

I picked up dinner here once every few months, so not a regular, however I am always greeted politely, staff are great, food and service is excellent, amazing salsa. Don’t be afraid to try this place, you won’t be disappointed.

Felix (the Owner) opened this location a few months ago. It has been struggling a bit but that’s only because Felix isn’t comfortable with social media and marketing. He is very old school. Sometimes that isn’t bad but when you open a new restaurant, it would be good to consider a glance at social media avenues or every day direct mailers.
This location is awesome. Carrie served us tonight and did a wonderful job as usual. Their food is always incredible. It’s hot and very tasty. It was empty so we got our food very fast. The cost is close to our at current market value. They have plenty of parking and their hours are 11am – 8pm but closed on Sundays. Please don’t go to La Cabana on Seltice. Try this new place down on Riverbend Ave instead. It’s actually better because it’s less busy than the Seltice location.

Pretty good food. Although they’re not totally authentic if you’re used to real authentic Mexican food. Nice place nice and clean the staff are courteous and helpful and nice. Prices aren’t bad they’re not cheap though. They also have a restaurant in Spokane I have yet to visit. Give them a try.

Best Mexican restaurant around! They don’t use seed oils which is a huge plus in my world. The staff is amazing! Love going here!
