I hate to leave bad reviews but this one is warranted. We went on Valentines for dinner. Martin also had their winter formal this night so I understand things may move a little slower. We were seated in a back table near the bar, so already a little out of sight. We sat for 20 minutes before we got asked our drink order. Our waiter seemed more interested in making all the drinks behind the bar, where there was already 2-3 people doing the same. By the time our drink orders were taken, our one bowl of salsa was already consumed so we ask for refill. I believe a salsa refill was asked for 3 to 4 times before we actually got it, along with our food over an hour later. When our food finally came, my strips of steak looked awful along with quite a bit of fatty pieces. My husbands plate had a hair in it, which we sent back and didn’t reorder because we didn’t want to sit for another hour waiting on that. I’m usually a very patient person but this experience was beyond insane, especially when our waiter never apologized for the wait, just acted like this was normal. I’ve been to La Cabana a few times in the past – never this bad but based on this experience alone, I would not return.

I will never order take out again! You get half the food ordering takeout than if you went in and ordered the food .. the prices are crazy for the half order I received… I don’t eat much at all, I had stomach surgery, so I’ll order cheesy chicken and rice and I literally get 6 meals out of it if I go in and dine . I take a few bites and take the rest home. I kid you not the take out order was a joke . I even expressed to the guy I placed my order with how I’ll never go back to the Dresden one because theirs was a slap in the face for $20 .. it was a child size portion. When I called they said it was their lunch size.. Well i didn’t ask for that What I did get in Martin was good, but not good enough for the amount they gave and the price I paid. I’ll go in and eat and if they’ve just cut back on portions throughout, I’ll never go back . They are gonna put themselves right out of business.

A truly delightful experience! From the moment we arrived, the warm atmosphere and friendly service made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was full of authentic flavor and clearly made with care. I especially recommend the carne asada and the caldo—both were outstanding! Hadn’t been there in several months…what has happened to their food!??? Friend of mine and I went after church today. He got the DelMar plate and it was flavorless …friend has had this dish a few times before and always said it was good. I got a taco salad, when she brought it out, there was water on the plate the tortilla salad bowl was sitting on , ask and showed the waitress the water and ask her why that was there, she said it was the chicken juices…ewwee! ,,,2 bites, I sent it back , not only was the tortilla bowl getting soggy on the bottom, that lettuce and shredded chicken was disgusting. Wet, soggy horrible! . The sour cream was disgusting, not that I would have eaten it, but they left off the guacamole. Wasn’t charged for it…so I ordered bbq nachos, really!? It was horrible, that meat!? Ugh I had the chips and cheese around it and some of the meat…ugh…
It boiled in my stomach like a cauldron , got home and literally threw up and felt much better.
My friend also, was in the restroom at home not feeling good….
Step it up ya’ll!!! You used to have good food!

Just ate there tonight for the first time in about 2 years and it had went so far down hill. The service was terrible. The food was terrible. A friend ordered two cheese quesadilla’s for their kids and it looked like they stuck very little cheese on a tortilla and stuck it in a microwave. How do you mess up a cheese quesadilla? Will definitely not be going back!

Ordered the street tacos. The hot sauce was terrible. No lime. The corn tortillas were cold and must not have come near the skillet. Seasoning on the meat was sub par. Do not order the street tacos.
